[BC4CP] Some final remarks as the ballots open
BaronChris
Dear friends,
It’s been an interesting week leading up to the elections. I want to take this time on election day to ask you to vote for me. A lot of nonsense and misinformation has been bandied round by people who don’t particularly like me, and instead of responding, I’ve worked hard to build my policies and cabinet.
So I ask you, if you want to see a candidate whose country is his foremost priority, and whom has always been nothing but pleasant and helpful to those he encountered. I have the most broad and far reaching manifesto with new departments and new policies, as well as giving new faces chances to get involved in the country we say is dying a death through inactivity. We have to encourage young players to stay- Plato certainly won’t.
I’m not going to comment on what’s going on in the media about my opponent, as its not in my nature to stoop to these low levels. What I will say, is that you’ll have a friendly and fresh face as your CP. Here is my cabinet proposal, aswell, with some strong faces, as well as some new ones. I aim to fill any vacancies in the first few days, as well as stocking up a few departments to spread workload.
As the PP of the part that pushes for accountability and transparency, I thought it only right that this position go to someone with passion and vigour on the topic.
MoF- Huey George
The man who gave me my first chance in government and has always conducted himself with the upmost grace and professionalism.
dMoF- PaulusG
I couldn’t think of anyone else to support Huey George in finance this term.
MoBI- VACANT
MoD Team- Mitzuno, Aaron Mark Daniels, Crankhunter
All fresh and enthusiastic faces to add new light to the department.
Minister of Projectiles- Suezo31
As the man who I got the idea from, and what his entire party is based upon, I thought he was the best choice in making this idea a reality.
MoFA- Bohemond4
A kind and experienced TUP PP, and previous CP.
dMoFA-George Hannover
I've always had great respect for George and what he's done for UK media and look forward to working with him.
dMoFA/Ambassordial Programme Executive Director-VACANT
MoHA- Robin Redcap
An experienced MoHA, who i have worked with and am proud to call a friend.
dMoHA-Polymorphic
New kid on the block with promise.
dMoHA (Head of Interviews & Statistical Insights)- lluis6214
After an excellent series for the CP elections, I'm sure he will add relevance and variety to MoHA this term.
MoEnt- Gali2332
A good friend of mine for a long time, who has a certain talent for entertaining the eUK.
dMoEnt- Fatalix
The man who warned me he was an asshole before considering him. Fatalix will bring joy to citizens of the eUK.
MoEd- Rob The Bruce
There are no words.
dMoEd- Pannonian Nomad
A good friend whom is starting his political career in the department that informs.
MoT- VACANT
Kind Regards,
Baron Chris
UK CP Candidate

Good luck today mate (:
You've got a cabinet article, which is more than SerF has! 😛
I like it!
Just because SerF doesn’t have a cab article out does not make this one any less mediocre. Lets break it down:
The premise for the MoGA is flawed before you even talk about who is running it. A Government minister who’s boss is the CP, is in charge of ensuring the CP is transparent and honest? Is that not a complete conflict of interest? It is congress’s duty to hold the CP to account. Also, the MoGA has no authority to arbitrarily ‘settle disputes’ in Congress without you actually coming up for a proper proposal and congress voting on it. You can’t just impose things on congress.
Okay yeah, Huey is the safe choice for MoF, but I would argue that this is the one ministry where we could do with some fresh blood. No offence to Huey, but he’s been at the top of the MoF for months and the reports are getting less frequent.
MoBI is vacant, but a poor idea. There is no money to be made in the economy module, any money we have to give away is going to bring more benefit to a player in the form of grants for TG upgrades and contract. Focus on D1 and D2 players who are proven long term eUKers who don’t full train (rob the bruce as an example)
With the MoD, I get that you want to bring in new players to the govt, but simply putting three people with no experience in the MoD in charge of our nation’s defence is silly. I get that you don’t want/can’t have SerF, but there are a raft of people you could’ve approached before these three.
Cont from above:
The Ministry of Projectiles is a bad idea. Fairly sure that the NHS had been thinking about supplying weapons for a while, so having two organisations is inefficient. Also there’s the question should we be throwing q7’s at newbs and encouraging them to fight? They need to train and upgrade TGs, not be encouraged to level up as quickly as possible.
MoFA. I haven’t got anything against Boh, but he has been out of the loop for a while and to simply throw him in as MoFA in such a delicate time is silly. If you want him to be involved, I get that but you need to have someone alongside him, like NWG or Wook, who has been in and around government and will be able to smoothly transition between CP terms. Its unnecessary disruption.
I don’t remember Robin being MoHA before, so I guess we’ll see how he does. The MoHA isn’t important in the grand scheme of things. Rob as MoEd is interesting, considering that he (by his own admission) did nowt when he was MoHA.

I can MoEd, just copy and paste old guides seeing as it's all already there pretty much.
Ministry of Projectiles is a good idea, if (and only if) it's made for Frag's exclusive use.
It's nastytrolling if you ask me...
I could always multi-task and fill one of the vacant/ lacking Ministries. Although BC's cabinet looks quite competent to me, despite the addition of a couple of new and heavily criticised ministries.
I'm sure you'll have fun if BC is elected!
Although I agree the MoD is largely inexperienced.
I agree with MOD sentiment xD
MoGA is a waste of time, thus I don't care who the minister is.
Huey as MoF is a safe choice.
All your members of the MoD team are scarily inexperienced, I have horrible memories of when hollenboer was MoD. I'd personally have somebody with a wealth of experience in MoD (Chaz, BrickTamland, etc.) as well as your noobs to make sure everything runs smoothly. Fresh faces for the sake of giving new people a chance is not a great plan for the MoD.
Ministry of projectiles... hm. I guess suezo's enthusiastic enough to do a good job of running that ministry but there's the whole debate about whether it's actually a good idea or not.
Boh as MoFA is OK, but as Adastros pointed out it'd be better to have him working with somebody who's been in the FA game a bit more recently (Wook, NWG, Kapten Johnson etc.)
The MoHA position's pretty unimportant if you've got decent enough MoEd and MoEnt, but a "Head of Interviews & Statistical Insights" does sound interesting.
Gali and Fata in MoEnt is a gr8 plan I reckon.
MoEd is obviously awsum.
No vCP?
Overall...
5.7/10 cabinet. Needs better MoD, MoFA could be slightly better and I find your lack of vCP disturbing, but Home Affairs and Finance krews seem sound.
Christ that's the longest comment I've written in a long while.
Mine was so big erep wouldn't let me put it in one comment, had to write it out in word...
William Ross... The PTO buddy... LOL.
Ok get your fact straight first, what?!
