[AUT] Austria Under Attack

While Austria and Italy have traditionally enjoyed a very close relationship - including recent occasions where Austrians were deployed to help defend Italy from invasion - the situation today is quite different. With no notice, warning, or prior discussion indicating their aims, Italy has opened an attack on the region of Salzburg - at the same time our ally to the north, the Czech Republic, faces an invasion from Poland. For the first time in months, enemy soldiers have set foot on Austrian soil.

To help face this threat, the Osterreichs Bundesheer is looking for all Austrians who are willing and able to fight in this war to join us in coordination. A disorganized force of many lone soldiers will stand no chance against this new threat - we need to work together and cooperate to secure our independence. The Austrian Army will be fighting in the last two hours of battle, starting at 1😇0 Erepublik time on day 1,009.
