[Artela] Time for Another Update from the Oval Office

A round up of the last week, covering an update on the non-aggression pact with Spain, the rescue of Canada and our subsequent sightseeing tour of the eUK..







The Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) that was signed between America, Brazil and Spain on day 1600 (Apr 7th) was extended to the full pre-agreed 40 days, so will now officially end on day 1640 (May 17th). A reminder that the only battles we should be fighting on Spanish soil are those to retain Asturias and Navarra to enable us to keep our 100/100 bonuses.







Operation ‘Save Canada’

Just over a week ago it became apparent that Canada weren’t doing too well against the UK in their little war. So, America to the rescue! We declared UK a Natural Enemy and took the regions they had taken from Canada thereby closing the border between them and ending the war. Operational success.

This did, however, leave us with the little problem of what to do with another week of NE against the UK, so we’ve had a little fun over the last week having a bit of a UK sightseeing tour... so far we’ve seen the delights of Wales, Devon and Cornwall (the SouthWest), Shakespeare’s region (the West Midlands) and one of the most boring places on earth, the East Midlands. There are still a couple of days left for the sightseeing itinerary while the peace proposals go through.

But don’t worry - there will be some action again soon and the Natural Enemy has been unset to allow us to be ready to strike new enemies with only 24 hours notice.








From time to time for key battles it is necessary for the Arm America operation to swing into effect, but this requires Quartermasters to help distribute tanks and food to the figters who turn up. If you are an experienced Quartermaster who is interested in aiding America and her allies in this way, please contact Ralph Ericson or Vanek26 to volunteer your services and get added to the on-call rota for this vital service.
