[ADP] Bits and Pieces

Day 2,658, 20:15 Published in Australia Australia by Mongoosier

Hello you lovely ADPers,

Firstly to those that applied for free food in a Wednesday food drop – apologies for the delay in getting this to you. You should all have been fed now.

It was prawns and beer and prawns never go off I think – so hopefully won’t send you all scurrying to the dunny!

And a big thanks ever to my fishy friend Jack Trout for getting the article up.

Congress election

Onto election news then and thanks too to everyone who voted for the ADP. We had a stronger showing than last time out – coming second to the highly organised (hats off to you guys) KHMC.

But we could still do a little better so some work to do for the Party Leadership this term and next.

It’s tough as some very able people missed out on Congress this time around but there was a lot of interest and we didn’t get the vote needed to get them all in.

I personally apologise to anyone who missed out this time. Next time guys…

Anyhow, the party is delighted to be sending the following members into Senate/ Congress:

JackTrout
Rusty D
Dullagamur
Guagature
Merovingiano

A good mix of old and young players there - and all active - so enjoy your terms, guys.

The official line of the ADP is that we would like you to donate your gold for getting into Congress to the government – but this is a personal decision for each one of you.

CP elections

Time is flying and it’s almost CP election time here. We have two candidates in the ring at this point:

WyvernJack and Callumh123.

I haven’t seen a detailed manifesto from either to be honest so it’s been hard to take a decision on whom to endorse. However, after discussion with my political colleagues we have decided to support Calumh123.

He stepped in well at a difficult time last term and in our minds deserves a full term to show what he is made of.

ADP members are of course free to vote for whomever they like in CP (and in any) elections – but the official party line is Vote Calumnh123 for CP!

Best of luck to both candidates in this election and hope that eAustralia is the winner regardless.

More excitement coming soon in the form of the JDS report for Feb. It's fair to say we had a fantastic month so look out for some good stats there.

Remember, if you want to join the best free gold for new players scheme in the world, or if you have completed more tasks and need me to update your funding then drop me a line.

Over and out for now,
Mongoosier,
PP ADP
