96th Congressional Session Review
MONDAY NOVEMBER 30TH 2015 | EREPUBLIK DAY 2932
INFORMATION CURRENT AS OF

Since I am no longer the Secretary of Technology the following series of articles will be done in my own format, versus that of the Technology Department which I had made due to a request by former PotUS Gnilraps last month to start doing Department of Technology articles. So lets get down to business ... as to be expected this month's congress is not as large as last month because we have given up some regions in Spain and elsewhere. The all time high we had last month is was never intended to be a long time high simply because we never intended to hold on to all of Spain indefinitely as it just wouldn't make any good sense. Again I digress ...

So here is a brief summary of the 96th Congressional Elections. As with last month the American Military Party ( AMP ) is still a T6 party thanks to the rising ranks of Socialist Freedom Party ( SFP ) and Black Sheep Party ( BSP ). So the more active members of AMP have moved on mainly to the Federalist Party ( FED ) and a couple moved onto the United States Workers Party ( USWP ) and We The People Party ( WTP ).

As you can see from above it was a very mixed month as we had less votes then the prior months elections; and still below average for this year, but managed to have a higher initial sign-in percentage then our overall last month.

 Although the total votes in this months congressional elections was below average, this month still hold promise as the initial congressional sign-in's were decently high ( 88.7% ) and the Speaker of the House election resulted in the same outcome of ( 88.7% ). Just as with the last month between rainy sunday & ResouIa the polls were close the entire time and Cromstar managed to pull out 2 more votes to beat ResouIa and will be our Speaker of the House this month. Here is the breakdown:

 With the image above you can see that Cromstar won by 2 votes, with 85.71% of the vote coming from his own Federalist Party and the United States Workers Party. Now with that here is the Party Break Down on the election:

The Black Sheep Party has managed to stay in 3rd in the rankings and lost only 2 seats which ties them for second most lost from the last election; SFP being the most lost, but it was at least a bit to be expected due to the reduction in the number of seats available.

After 2 months of Arrden running the party they have regained a T5 spot but like stated early lost a couple of seats. Both months they have pitted ResouIa aganist two highly respected former SoH's and he has lost both times but it was not a rout and he did put up some really good numbers.

Inside News: The Black Sheep Party will be releasing a new website in the near future to bring about a much needed upgrade as the current website is mainly designed for the VMA-214 Black Sheep Private Military Unit. So keep your eyes open over the course of December for the release date.


Once your top dog in regards to the rankings you always have someone trying to take your spot and with the Federalist Party being number 1 last month they were bound to have a fight on their hand with this months election as the American Military Party was once again a T6 party and so what they did is asked many of the active members of AMP to join them and help them recover more seats. Although their actions proved very smart they didn't get enough votes and dropped 2 seats which tied them for the BSP as second to most seats lost. They are currently still the the number 1 party in terms of members but they are 2nd when it comes to congress only because USWP had a slightly higher percentage of vote ( .16% ) yet they did still manage to retain the same amount of seats that USWP had gained so in reality it was more of a tie.

Last month they helped elect rainy sunday and again they followed suit by supporting Cromstar. Both are highly respected and are former SoH's with many terms under their belts. With their record nearly identical with the USWP they will more then likely continue to be a powerful force within congress.

Sadly for the Socialist Freedom Party they took yet another drop this month in losing 3 seats which left them as the single largest lose of seats but in the big picture it wasn't that much of a huge deal as 3 seats out of a possible 62 isn't as bad as it could be. It was back in September during the 94th congress that they stunned the country and not only regained a T5 spot; from the Black Sheep, but they gained the most seats during the election. They welded their power and did some stuff but in the end they didn't quite get their goals accomplished although last month they nearly dropped tax's to a much lower rate and lost by only a few votes.

Although the SFP is no longer the top dog with the most seats they are still a strong force and this month have a total of 10 out of the 62 seats available. As we have seen in the past seats don't always mean you can't make things happen so this month will definitely be a sight to see.

Ever since I can recall ( 2008ish ) the United States Workers Party has always been one of the strongest parties and way back in the V1 days it was like the Federalist Party currently is and maintained the top spot for a very very long time. Well think invitiably change over time and now they are the second largest party but they still are a force to be reckoned with as they have shown their resourcefulness and was the only "large" ( sorry WTP ) party to retain their seats from last month.

Since AMP is no longer a T5 party some of their active members not only joined the FED's but also joined the USWP. That helped to keep their numbers high enough to bring in extra votes to keep them from losing a seat. While Plato considers them #1 this month; because of a higher .16 percentage than the Fed's, it's more appropriate to say they are tied with the Fed's as they have the same amount of seats. With former PotUS Pfeiffer back as Party President no one has any idea on what will happen with them this month so they are another group you should keep a close eye on.

We The People for the longest time has been the T5 guard which is actually quite important because in order for a PTO Party; Political Takeover Party, to have members in congress they must first grow larger then the WTP however it has been quite a long time since a PTO was able to do so never the less it is still an important post. They were one of the only two parties that managed to keep the same amount of seats; along with the USWP, even though due to us leaving Spain we reduced the number of congressional seats by 7.

Currently headed by Mike Ontry; the coding master himself, the party will most certainly continue to stay strong and may even grow some more this month. The recently; a couple of months ago, introduced a new website which is actually quite ingenious and will most definitely help them. If you have time I recommend you check it out.


As I stated in my last article I wont be doing anything weekly media wise while I am just a Deputy and no access to a government org but never the less the site's stats have began to dip a bit so I felt the need to refocus a bit on the portal and if you have yet to do so I highly recommend checking it out as it is made to last and provide you with everything National wise you may wish to know. I even recently finally completed something I have been working on for the last month and here it is:

As most of you know I have been hard at work on the National Archives and with each passing month I have added so much data that's it just mind boggling when I look at it; National Archives Database, it was merely intended to help me update the portal but it has grown by so much and provides an amazing amount of information that may even help you with your next article. If you do use the database I don't ask for any special credit other then for you to simply use the government footer in your article to help spread the awareness of the various properties of the eUnited States Government.

Inside News: Only a few people know this but others will quickly find out by clicking various links that I am working on an additional project I have had my sights on for a while. If you think you know what the future project is then I will send you a special gift; no ResouIa this doesn't include you 😛 your not allowed because you already know and thanks for the response it will be done within the next week or so once I get a 34.

I know you all were wondering what I was up to this month and well my time away from the " Technology Department " came in handy; also the lack of Government Media also helped, because without my regular duties I was free to do what I have wanted to do for months. Thanks to Former Speaker rainy sunday for the help she gave in making this a reality.

The Race4PotUS has returned once more with the 98th PotUS Election! This months election currently is between two former Presidents: WildOwl ( Current ) and Gnilraps ( October ). Both have taken different routes with Wild Owl continuing what he has already done this month. He is currently referring back to his articles from last month. Where as Gnilraps while still having faith in the dictator module he has taken to running as a No Dictator PotUS for this month. Both have their merits but why don't you take a look for yourself!
