"Spam articles are neither appreciated nor tolerated"


I've just finished my first comment task. I thought I would feel a relief, but ... bam, another task: now I have to write 3 articles and get 25 comments on those.
I will start with telling you that it wasn't an easy task to gather 25 comments, because for an article to get enough of them, the same laws as in real life apply: either you have a slowly made loyal fan base or you just start a can-can flame war, pointing fingers to a person/clone/tyrant/dictator/bank robber/Frank Underwood Trainee/etc

But why not ignore the task?
Basically the comment task is blocking my other missions because I can have only 3 active task (so it seems). One of the 3 missions is the society builder one, which requires to get 10 people to game. That's alot for erepublik kind of game. So either you get a contract with Kamino and start your own clone army or you're a really persuasive person. Else it will always stay there reminding you that oscars are hard to get.
The other task usually is a slow one, like plow the fields for 10 days.
So in a way your hand is pressured to finish the journalist task.

Now, this game is pretty uneventful. Also there are already a handful of people that write constantly when such an event occurs. So the choices are: you write an article and try to persuade people to leave a comment (being annoying in the process 🙁 ) or flame, get a person of interest and just throw the blame for the problems in the eCountry. Since you need to make a crowd-raising to get the comments there's no need to write good article, it's the same. Either way you chose to take from those, its kind of a spam article.

In conclusion, the mission is wrong, spam articles are not appreciated, but well they are tolerated and encouraged.
