Hello,

Since many months, this game’s vivid colors started fading more and more each day. Once, we did have a reason why to reserve some little time from our free moments in the day and invest it here; working for improving our communities and deepen our countries’ and personal friendships and diplomatic relationships. It had a point, since back then, we had a purpose to fight for, we had a goal; and when one has a goal willing to reach strongly, someone else might find difficulties to cease the wish and destroy the ambitions. The reasons for which this game failed are several; I would mostly blame the administrators and their lack of care for the players, in expense of their constantly increasing greed, even if everywhere there is a certain group of players that can be found, a group capable of making even e-lives terrible with their behavior.

Everyone has their own life path, even an e-life path here in this game, a direction that we chose or built, and further followed with reason and purpose, at least until many of the players lost them both. Between some players that are here since the beginning of the game, the ones that have seen many changes, and for some others that recently joined, even if their number is small, there is a big difference in the point of view in this game; I suppose many of the old players might still have some little hidden hope that one day they will be able to resurrect the old memories, and also, they stay for everything for which they invested so much time for in the creating; while the young players have bonds weaker to the e-community since they share less memories and less time-consuming projects that would represent reasons for them to keep logging in in eRepublik sometimes.

Nowadays, the media modul is gone, just as almost everything that once used to connect the players and amuse them in certain ways, fortunately or unfortunately. Personally, I do feel certain gratitude towards the game since I met valuable people in it, which I would probably not meet at all if our paths did not cross exactly while being part of the e-community. However, I want to thank everyone that I once used to talk with and spend time with, here and outside this game. Regardless of all the failure that this game was destined to, I can still say that not all the time invested here was spend in vain; back in the days I did meet an unique person with which I still spend my days feeling endlessly happy and loved in my real life. That person is my Emperor Alpha, the most wonderful man I have met, the person that succeeded to change my life. Hopefully you all have found good people that stayed in your life and made it more beautiful, so not all the time you invested in this game was uselessly spent time in your lives.
