Otherwise, I would like to address something that has been concerning me. That there is a perception of our party that is tainted or bad. So lets take a look and see if we can figure this out together.

I can see how drone-like it can appear. Socialist can even be seen as a bad word or even scary in real life OMG! But Socialism by real life definition is “a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”

Now that’s interesting.

How is socialist or Socialism a bad word in the game of erepublik though? Is this real life or just fantasy? Because I thought I was playing a game. I’m not quite sure how some players tell me ‘they don’t want to be socialist’ and that’s why they don’t want to join the party. That’s a goddam cop out, imo. By the same definition I could argue that there are plenty of socialist-like erepublik players.

The Feds / SHIELD, USWP, WTP, AMP, Black Sheep / VMA, War Inc, and Easy Company are all organizations that have socialist-like practices. Every group I just listed exercises production, distribution and exchange that is owned and/or regulated by the community of players in those organizations. They just don’t call themselves socialists…

In one way or another, erepublik’s players operate in socialist organizations. Am I wrong? I’m calling BS to labeling the Socialist Freedom Party as strictly socialist and ‘zomg socialists are bad!’ In fact, there is no difference except our party says exactly what it is and isn’t just a bunch of smoke and mirrors.

So lets cut the crap. Yes, this article has been a pretty cynical towards those who are allowed to have their own opinions of us. And you know what? That’s ok! I encourage you to discuss with me below in the comments how I am wrong. I’m a pretty humble guy. Or just ignore this article, whatever, the Socialist Freedom Party dun give a fug. We are more a group of free thinkers, writers, entrepreneurs, individualists, givers, workers and much more. Everyone’s opinion matters, and that’s the beauty of being in our party.

Activity - We write, fight, sing, dance, argue, spit, curse, screw, love and do nothing.
Idealism - We aspire to be the greatest of players despite our flaws; we embrace any and all.
Outreach - We welcome any player to join us and want them to make a difference.
Solidarity - We have a common identity to help each other no matter how big or small.
