Xavier Griffith’s Final Address to the Nation

Day 925, 21:27 Published in Australia Australia by Xavier Griffith

My Fellow Australians,

This is not an official notification from the Prime Minister of our Great Nation, it is purely a personal address of myself. I also apologise in advance for the wall of text.

The Prime Ministerial Elections draw nearer each day and I wanted to take this opportunity as while I still could to do several things before I seriously get a chance to take a break and rest from Politics.

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank every Australian Citizen that chose to vote for me as Prime Minister for the 2 Terms I have served in that capacity. It has been a great honour to me to see the overwhelming support I gained by your votes throughout both elections. Both terms votes have been landmark ones for our nation in several ways. For my first Term I was the first Prime Minister of Australia to have one the election by such a huge margin. Predominantly our Prime Ministerial elections have been very close in numbers. For the term ending, I am the first Prime Minister of eAustralia to have exceeded the 300 vote mark, another landmark within our nation, not to mention the fact that the election numbers overall were the biggest number of voters we have had in the history of eAustralia. These figures do not purely reflect upon me, they reflect upon as all, both as individual Citizens of Australia and as a Nation. They say, that people in Australia are becoming more active, even if just in eRepublik and not on the eAustralian Forums. That we are taking more of an interest in what is happening in our eNation and that is a credit to each and every one of you.

Being Prime Minister of eAustralia is not an easy role, in fact I don’t think it would be an easy role for any eNation. The pressures of the job are horrendous and quite frankly I don’t think anybody can truly understand them until they have been there, I certainly didn’t, that’s for sure. Changes have been made over my terms that have not been seen in eAustralia. Not all were accepted happily, but it is impossible to please every individual with around 5000 eCitizens. I have had detractors over my terms regarding some actions I have taken. That’s Politics and it’s to be expected for one reason or another. Some for comments or statements made which cannot be misconstrued; some for things where the detractors really didn’t understand the full pictures behind those decision. Again, that’s Politics, you can’t please everybody. Transparency was one of my biggest plans, more access to the Cabinet discussions has been implemented, at least for the terms I’ve been in the role, the Speakers and Deputy Speakers have had access to the Cabinet Room forums and the IRC Cabinet Room channel so that they may see what is being discussed and are able to go back to the Senate with information should it be needed. These changes have helped heal the rift between the Cabinet and Senate that was starting to rip the nation apart and I hope that they continue to be implemented where our Nation’s Security allows.

These terms in office have been, while busy, an absolute joy for me. I’ve worked with some absolutely magnificent people as part of my Cabinet team. Left to run their departments as they have been by me, but bringing the plans, ideas and concepts they have come up with regarding their portfolios has been a joy for me in seeing the innovation and abilities of these people when given the chance and not constantly micromanaged by the Prime Minister. Authority given my Deputy Prime Minister’s, especially sir_c0nstant, to make decisions based on information given by Department heads if I was not available while still following the over goal and aims of the administration worked magnificently and beyond my expectations and making the DPM role one with some actual authority where it was often seen as a defunct nothing role. The Senate, which had been or seen to be so much of a problem force against the Cabinets and Prime Ministers only 3 months ago have been a joy and pleasure to work with also. Minor issues have arisen but purely out of the need and desire to understand the reasoning behind things, pure and simple communication where possible for security reasons given solved nearly all of these issues and made the Senate easy to work with not by trampling them, or complaining about them but by having them willingly support what was occurring or constructively contributing with ideas and suggestions that made the whole process and actions easier and workable beyond what even I expected possible. It has proven to me, once again, that a Prime Minister and their Cabinet that work with and together with the Senate on many issues will always be able to achieve more than they will or could by trying to think they have a standalone solid mandate to walk all over or bully the Senate into complying with their concepts. So to all of you over the last 2 terms I’ve been in Office, both my Cabinet Members , Senators and the People of our Great Nation, Well Done, Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you from myself for your Support and assistance and understanding.

My greatest fear as I leave office is that the Indonesian PTOers will sometime soon take over our nation. Most will not know of it, but I recently left an expose I guess it could be called in the Senate outlining my belief of what would happen if they ever gained control of eAustralia, both as the Prime Minister and with a majority in the Senate. The PTO attempts in Australia are being perpetrated by Indonesians that constantly abused, threatened, lied and backstabbed our nation in earlier months. Many of them, Wonder Forward in particular blame patti11 and use him as an excuse and scapegoat for the reasons they are doing this, seriously, this is a lie. It’s been months since patti was Prime Minister of eAustralia and WA was returned to eAustralia by Brolliance and EDEN forces, for goodness sake get a life and get over it, after all, as they constantly say to us, “it’s only a game”. Many Indos say this was us back stabbing them, but they forget their own backstabbing. The other lie WF uses is that he hated the way Prime Minister Cerri was treated, but forgets that Indonesia forced Prime Minister Cerri, who in turn forced the Senate at the time, to sign and endorse a disgusting one sided Non-Aggression Pact or face imminent and complete annihilation through full invasion by Indonesian forces. Once signed and in place, this so called Non-Aggression Pact that was supposed to have lasted 5 months, the Indonesians shipped all of their mobile Military units and tanks to eBrazil and had them attack eAustralia, successfully taking WA, NT and SA before Brolliance and EDEN forces pushed them out. I dare say many Indonesians were not aware of this breach of the Non-Aggression pact between Australia and Indonesia and how Indonesia broke its own agreement again.

Many people in this game and especially in eAustralia tend to see it as War Game. It’s not; the game is not as some would have us believe purely a War oriented game. The game is more complex than that, and encompasses War yes, but it also encompasses Politics, Business and Economics. Without the processes of Politics, Business and Economics it is impossible to have war, so people need to understand that and stop thinking that it is only about war. The Prime Minister’s role is not an easy one, the need to juggle and allow for each of those aspects on an equal footing needs to be conceived and followed. The fact that people in the game are not all involved in it for playing war, there are those involved in the game for their interest in Business, Economics and like me Politics, trying to make this game all about war will achieve nothing, and while I think highly of Widdows9000, especially as a Military person, who I am the first to admit during my terms as Prime Minister has taught me a lot, along with Schoft and Mack Craft, as a magnificent and brilliant military person, I could not support him as Prime Minister of the Nation, at least not at the current moment. As a military person, I can ultimately see occurring in Australia what occurred with other like minded people as PM, a war between the Senate and the Cabinet due to them not liking the way our system works. I understand that many do not like, or trust sir_c0nstant, for whatever reason, generally due to the AMP vs ANP party conflict, but at the next election I will be placing my personal support behind him as the next Prime Minister of our nation. He is politically minded enough to understand all of the different requirements of Politics, Economics, Business and War and more than capable of working together with the people he and I know have the expertise’s to keep the Nation running and as safe as possible in these troubling times, he also has the grace to bow before those with more knowledge in other areas that he is not strong in and to accept that advise and learn from it like I did.

Sorry about the length of this wall of text, you won’t be getting another one for some time, but I would, once again, like to thank the People of our Nation, the Senators I have worked with and all of the Cabinet members for their help, support, advice and trust through my terms in office.

Regards
Xavier Griffith
Soon to be just a Citizen once again 🙂

PS: Writing too many more of this I’d feel like Aeros 🙂

PPSS: Due to the now serious PTO attempt by the Indos, While I personally would support SC in a proper election, the ANP and AMP have done a deal so that they support Widdows9000 this term. I encourage ALL True and Honourable Australian Citizens to vote for Widdows9000 as per the Agreement between both the AMP and ANP.
I'll attach links to the official ATO agreements between both parties when they go online.
