Why not to join and/or leave Praetorian Guard NL

Let me start with saying that not everybody is Praetorian Guard NL is bad, I know for a fact the the majority of the people in this Military unit are good loyal citizens, citizens who are proud of eNL and who love eNetherlands and would never do anything to hurt of fight against eNetherlands. It is a shame to say that although most people are loyal, a good number of Praetorian Guard NL members aren't and fighting for the enemy and some are even fighting against eNetherlands. Praetorian Guard NL used to be a loyal military unit who listened to orders of the Dutch Ministry of Defense most of the time but also there are incidents knows of this MU of setting orders to fight opposite of Ministry of Defense orders even before M. de Ruyter left for Norway.

A few months ago there was a war between eNetherlands and Norway and Praetorian Guard NL members fought for Norway against eNetherlands and this war it is the same story. The worst thing is the commander of this MU M. de Ruyter is tanking against eNetherlands doing mass damage against us while the MU he is commander of is one of the biggest MU in eNetherlands (in damage). It is clear that there is a conflict of interest in this with the MU commander tanking hard against the country his MU is located in. Praetorian Guard NL has also been used to set combat orders against eNetherlands paying people to fight against us.

M. de Ruyter is not the only person in this military unit fighting eNetherlands, his (Real life) wife Zeeuwsmeisje fights against eNetherlands as does FrankieVB and most likely others. The top 3 fighters in Division 4 of this MU who do ~85% of the damage in this division for this MU all fight against eNL or at least against our allies. Zeeuwsmeisje also being party president of a top 5 party in eNetherlands while fighting against eNetherlands is a big concern that should get addressed. Another problem is that people fighting in a MU located in eNetherlands with a clear identifiable uniform as such fighting against eNetherlands or against our allies is also bad for eNetherlands. It is confusing for foreigners from an allied country and/or an allied foreign countries when they see somebody in eNetherlands MU fighting against them. It hurts eNetherlands in our foreign affairs and our status in the eworld.

About two weeks ago an article was written by Trannsvaal who was a member of Praetorian Guard NL and left that MU for the reason as described in his article. Luckely many more people have seen the light and left this MU including LeoVinciDa, Fosite, Kaczyk, djirtsdew and most recently 071leiden who was 2nd commander in Praetorian Guard NL. I hope we will address the problem is new citizens being snatched away by Praetorian Guard NL, new citizens who do not know better. I was contacted by one citizens on this matter and he was surprised that a person out an enemy country was commanding such a big MU in eNL.

And I know people will say this is personal or that this is all lies but all statements in this article are based on facts, on screenshots and based on the weekly leaderboard statistics. Instead of just calling this personal attacks or lies I would like to see people who disagree with this article to come with an argument instead of just saying it's lies and attacks.

I haven't published about my leaving PG. But I did leave them definitively after Trannsvaal's article. (I was already part of DAF at the time for the tourney)

So I'm feeling ignored by the author of this article. I'd like to think of myself as worth naming in relation to PG. I've not updated my wiki page yet since I left, but most definitely I was a prominent member of PG, having been a captain of the MU for over a year. I also was the last captain democratically elected in regiment 1, and held that position until I left. During the time I've held the captain position, it also was very important, as there actually was a choice of battles, thanks to the many MPPs we had in those EDEN days.

On the other hand, we know that Norwegian citizens fight for Norway. I think I can also make an exception for their wives, even if they are eDutch.

The only problem as far as I'm concerned are these COs which are against NL. They're the reason I left, and the only real evidence that PG as a whole no longer follows eNL orders. And the sad thing is that probably part of the money being used here is eDutch money donated to the MU with the best of intentions for eNL...

Me and Fosite ruled D3 for a short time. I guess some of the D3 people of DAF will remember the MU tournament before the last one. 😛

A: You're altering what it said about the past, by insinuating something else than was the case.

Yes there was money donated by eNL citizens AND government for co's at that time. I can conform that. However they are not good anyways, low supplies 😛

My personal opinion is if their wives want to fight for Norway and against the Netherlands, the wife should move to Norway as well.

I don't see any evidence for this, nor was there ever afaik.

As member of PG at that time I'm quite sure the orders were always pro-NL. Individual members however can choose to fight differently from the orders that are set.

I remember an incident where PG was ordered to fight for eBE while eNL orders were to fight against eBE (for eUK or ePL) because eBE wanted to be wiped and MoD orders were to fight against Belgium

You can remember, but since you weren't in PG (but in eBelgium at the time?) you cannot be certain. Unless you had evidence provided to you by others. If you had such evidence, you probably still have it, so I encourage you to share.
On the other hand, without evidence, this statement actually is slander, and I would advice to remove the offending paragraph from the article.

eBelgium wanted to get wiped as an anti-PTO measure, right? I guess some individual members of PG were convinced by those PTOers, and fought for Belgium on their own behalf.
Setting a DO that counteracts the orders from the MoD makes no sense. And since fighting for Belgium almost certainly would have required moving to Belgium, I find it hard to believe that a DO would be set on that campaign for Belgium. Typically all DOs were set to be accessible from a single country, to save moving costs.

There were a lot of accusations about it but they were not true. It was part of the anti vS drama that was going on at the time (soon after vS left for eNor) and it annoyed me too back than that someone was putting everyone in the same bucket writing that PG is anti NL while all our daily orders were pro NL and whatever was current priority. As far as i know, government at that time was not very consistent when it came to updating priorities and so there was usually the problem of not receiving prios from gov in time.

Even after vS left the DO were still proNL because the captains were proNL and vS had not much choice but to also be proNL openly (even if he was a closet proNor).
I mean can you imagine the mass amount of people leaving if vS would openly declare or do something considered antiNL just before he left for eNor and even after it?
It was all fine, loyal to PG (not so much to MDR/vS himself) were still running on hope that captains keep everything in check till the captains couldnt be voted in anymore and so a person left in charge as captain and clearly commander were proNorway, that everything went down the toilet. That and commander taking the money started to put a lot of doubt about staying in PG and the results we can see now.

Simply put, PG wasnt antiNL as curtain individuals liked to preach in their personal vendetta against MDR/vS. Posting propaganda to put people in doubt about PG.

As you can see now that the situation changed and there arent people in charge anymore that could be trusted to not prioritize their new citizenship (whilelist before they atleast acted (?) pro NL), people are leaving. Hell, even I've made a decision to ran for next captain election but it was too late, I couldnt anymore cause of the change in rules. >_
Some people may wonder why im still in PG when obviously I see what is going on. Well... Im NOT fighting currently till I hit D2 so the state of DO at the moment is not bothering me. 😛

CO is bothering me because if PG apears suddenly to promote fighting against eNL than clearly its wrong (i know some people dont see it as wrong though). If that would be my money i would be even more furious, but it bothers me at this moment less than people trying to get me out of PG. It feels like trying to convince me to leave because they dont like PG as a whole rather than not like actions of individuals. It's like demanding, pushing me into it rather than recommend/advise.
Just speaking in general. How would anyone feel If people known for being against PG (it does not matter who) asked you to leave the very MU they were always against? Like the usual BullS, right? Despite even knowing the situation and not agreeing with it, it doesn't feel like there is any alternative, who would want to join up with people that were always fighting your friends from MU left and right?
