My impression is that all the bigger alliances has a great percentage of bullying asshats in their top layers.

I've been treated very well by people from CODE, there they help all countries like true friends.
Asteria on the other hand only wants us because it they want more gold.

They like you because you're fighting like a madman, anywhere at any time regardless of how it impacts other players, and they like that when it fits in to their plans

Assteria was always like this, big countries don't care about allies, they use them and throw them away until the next time they are useful.

So, how do we builda strong alliance without involving some of the "bigger" countries?

So many things in fhis game is largely controlled, unfortunately, by how a few big players in Romania/Serbia/Croatia get along with eachother, (and with admin) at the moment.
And when their mood changes, the game changes. (With very little opportunity for the rest of us to havea lot of impact.)

Look at eRussia and ask yourself who mixed rl with the game. A nation openly have Pro Putin Profil Pics, symbols and characteristics of this Pro War stuff and only stopped to post their war bs only when they got reported massively shows enough evidence. Why I should give them the distance ? No, they behavior like our enemy and they simple are. No reason to be friendly to them either accepting them as potential partner or anything in this direction.

we are ignored and as you can see by the TW linked above, they dont really care about our region balances/TW agreements either...

hence why i often prefer an e-nation to be either in a smaller alliance, in a neutral alliance, or to be independent.

The act of France here is just a response on your airstrike on our core.

You take the decision to attack a country Georgia which wasn t hostile. A country wich have only one region and have 0 power in military.

U take the decision to annihilate a community on your own decision or on others orders. They have right now 0 regions.
