I would like to use this platform to ask people for their thoughts and insight about the current Gold spike

as we can see Gold is steadily climbing to record highs so do we sell our Gold now or wait? why is it climbing? what will happen when the upgrade discount comes around? will Gold go up more?

If you spend real money on the game you are more likely to speculate, if not you will safe to upgrade. If you do not spend money on the game you will most likely be saving gold to upgrade. Those that speculate would have upgraded already, you need more than a handfull of gold to make it worth the effort to speculate on gold.

On average the gold will always go up.

Hold onto your gold - it's gone up and up since v2 was introduced already and the single currency idea was just the nail that sealed the deal. Unless there's a change in the economic module, gold will just go up and up.
