What makes the People's Communist Party special?

Day 1,876, 09:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Zaphod Beeblebrox IV

Well with PCP currently 7th in the party rankings with only 44 members 😨, I felt it best time that we started promoting ourselves, show you what we really are about. 😛 In the ruthless and uninspiring world of euk politics, what makes the PCP special, what are we about?

1) We have the oldest communes in the eUK. Formed in February 2009 by his holiness Bob Boblo, the communes have been going strong ever since. So much so, that it is a format that has been taken by many Military Units, and Political Parties throughout the UK. Typical commune supplies are 10 Q7 weapons and 60 Q5 food a day. If you are interested in a commune job and are in the PCP/PA pm Steeeev, and he will fix you up with one.

2) We are a tight-knit group that sticks together. Commies will always have your back, and since joining this party I have always been amazed at how close everyone is, and the level people will go to, to back a fellow commie, and help him with any problem he has. We even have a Mutual Aid sub-forum where comrades can ask for advice and help with any problems they have - in-game or in real life.

3) We are not run by a tight cabal. In other parties there is often a “leadership team” - those responsible for running different areas of the party. In the PCP there is no such thing. The leader is known as the “Party Spokesman” not the President, he speaks on behalf of the party, rather than bossing about the party. There is no leadership team, instead if work needs to be done, a post is made on the forum or in-game, and anyone can help with the task.

4) We do not dictate policies, or tell people what to think. In the PCP, there is no taking of sides, we do not instruct people to have “this point of view” or “disagree with them, they’re idiots.” Each member is entitled to their opinion, and we let them speak their beliefs. No-one is ever ridiculed for their opinions, everyone is listened to.

5) We are not afraid of who we are. As a communist party - our core values are equality, freedom of speech and collectiveness. These are all values that every other party in the UK aspires to - in my opinion, there is no truly right-wing or authoritarian parties in the UK. However unlike other parties, we do not try and hide behind generalised titles. We are communists with communist beliefs, and we are not afraid to say so. We are not ashamed, and do not try to pretend we are otherwise, in order to draw members in.

The People’s Communist Party has been going through a rough patch recently, members have dropped, and I feel we are not being taken as seriously as we once were. It is the time we rise up comrades, LET THE REVOLUTION BEGIN. \o/

On a more personal note, I am running for PP this month, and all comrades will be able to see my targets for the month ahead tonight. If you have any suggestions, or want to help out, please feel free to message me.

Yours,
Comrade Zap
