Join the new world

I have been in Erepublik for just over two months but I have quickly come to understand that in order to make some of the more complex institutions like the Senate work properly it requires people who are prepared to treat our institutions seriously (even though this is only a game).

I believe in taking a serious approach to eAustralian politics because the majority of eAustralians want the system to work properly and to have leaders they can rely on. When things work properly we all have more fun out of the game.

I joined the ANP because I believe in economically liberal policy: low taxes, low government, let the individual choose what to do with their money, not the government. I believe eRepublikans want a hand up, not a handout. They want to be able to learn the game mechanics so they can make their own way in life instead of relying on charity all the time.

At the same time as a country we must protect out borders and join into effective coalitions to protect our own national interests, and fund a strong military.

The basic platform of personal policies I took to the last Senate election (at which I was unsuccessful) have been amended and are now as follows:

As a candidate for the Australian National Party I support:

- lower income taxes in staged manner from 12% to 10%;
- small government, reducing government expenditure to essential programs and minimising any budget deficits or money printing;
- increased freedom of the individual, enabling citizens who want a job to get a job;
- strong border security and military services, via participation in strategic alliances with key defensive countries;
- a solid welfare safety net for the community (through basic government business operations for low level workers);
- less regulation for small business;
- reducing tariffs for sectors where there is a low supply of goods for the market.

I am a patriotic freedom loving eAustralian who wants to serve in our Senate as a serious endeavour and be your voice.

Vote ANP for a unified party which will take our Senate seriously and work hard to improve our country and enable eAustralians to enjoy the game.
