Join the new world

There have been many roads this general has gone down in his 8 month career. I started in politics when I began this game, winning my first election for mayor in Concord, New Hampshire. V1 was coming and so I then ran for congress in New York the next month. This led to three terms serving in the US congress. I had always liked politics and knew that I would always come back to it at some point. There are other parts to this game that needed attention in order to make me a more well rounded player. I joined the Marine Corps and rose to the rank of Lt. General in command of 20 of the most powerful players militarily in the eUS. All this, and along the way served as the Underminister of Foreign Affairs under the great Benn Dover in his administration.

Being a General in the Marine Corps has taught me everything from finance and funding to accounting for that money and keeping my people directed towards a common goal. This role has taken a lot of time and effort to fulfill, and I have given it my all. I have, with the help of Harlot and qn20 developed our tank program and worked with Leroy Combs to fund this unit. Under our tutelage this unit now has 7 generals and many more that are close. This is a fine example of what trained military personnel can do when you give them the latitude they need to preform.

The military is supposed to be a well oiled machine, that is funded regularly and becomes stronger. This for the most part is true with ours. What troubles me is the fact there is no attention being paid to the part that isn't. No, the commanders of the army are fine. It is the executive branch of the government that is failing them. Time and time again, this army has been meddled with and poked at by politicians that have no clue. Time for change.

I had been talking this over with many advisers for months now, about whether or not to make this run. I had a lot of things stacked against me. I would most likely face very competant and intelligent opponents, who all have experience close to or eclipsing mine. I would be facing an uphill battle being out of politics for an extended period of time. I had all of this to weigh against one thing: helping the people. I decided that I owe this public at least a shot of being heard. I owe it to this country that has given me so many opportunities, to be the leader it needs right now. I decided to run.

Presidential Declaration



I have said many time throughout this election that I am the most qualified candidate. I have proven it time and time again, calling out my opponents and being berated in return. I will not stop asking the questions people want answered. My opponents have repeatedly tried to shut me up, ignore me, dismiss me. You can see there is something wrong with this America. YOU have seen what the Washington clique doesn't want me around because I mean change. Politicians don't want change. You have seen how they push people like me to the side and trudge on, flinging their mud and calling people trolls. It is time for you to cast your vote to make that change possible.



Joe Dasmoe. What can I say about this guy that hasn't already been said? He is a dynamo. When he isn't helping new guys learn the ropes, he's a fixture in IRC and helps everyone there. There is nothing this guy can't do, and many can attest to that. He has held this position before with honor, regardless of a resignation. I have nothing but faith in this guy, he has never let me down, and he hasn't ever let YOU down. So.......



I hope that you take the time to make an informed choice for your country today. Joe and I have done nothing but work for this country and it's people since we have started this adventure. We work tirelessly to make this country just a little more livable each day. Now today, we ask for your vote to take this country to where it should be. To the height of military power, and superior foreign relations through talking with our allies and enemies, not at them. To lower income taxes and make it a better marketplace overall for the citizen. To give every citizen a voice, no matter what your age is. I will guarantee, a vote for John Jay/Joe Dasmoe will mean a stronger country, a stronger military, and a stronger community.
