It is a shame to see ATLANTIS is rotting within. It is sick to see eSweden still cling to its imperialistic desires for Schleswig Holstein and other parts of eGermany. This is the 3rd time we see eSwedish aggression against Germany.
The eSwedish action only create a rift in ATLANTIS as eSweden is willing to jeopardize the alliance stability and unity for its own interest as well as Kalle Holm's (Swedish President) own political gains as he promise war if he was elected.
It also disappointed when President scrabman as stated in his newspaper A Civil Society decided to side with eSweden as it is sending a wrong message to the world. While he states that eUSA and eGermany did not enjoy a long and beneficial relations as eUSA and eSweden, economically and militarily, in terms of foreign relations I believe the eUSA lost soft power. If the eUS side with imperialist aggressor state that jeopardize major treaties we loose creditability as an honorable nation. The image of ATLANTIS is tarnish as a weak and non-existent institution in which the more powerful prey on weaker and passive members.
Therefore, the eSwedish aggression already split ATLANTIS apart. In terms of the institution of ATLANTIS itself it is in a terrible position since it can fragment and rot within with internal division or ATLANTIS can kick out eGermany which eSweden wanted to do in which case ATLANTIS is weaken as it is kicking out good productive potential members which can join other alliances to go against us. ATLANTIS can also punish eSweden but it is not going to happen.
In my opinion, this war is really reckless on the parts of the Swedes. All members of ATLANTIS should strongly protest this conflict as it is a selfish conflict that accomplishes nothing other than to ATLANTIS internal problem and a big public image problem. ATLANTIS should take actions to end this war asap with no lost of territory on both sides and to bring back the status quo back into this alliance.

I don't see Germany as an ally yet. Sweden is our ally and has been for some time. Germany joined Atlantis for the sole purpose of thinking we would protect them if Sweden attacked again, not to counter Peace aggression. I believe we should let Sweden have a piece of Germany as payment for Atlantis putting itself in harms way to protect a new ally that has already betrayed another alliance.

I disagree, i see the way Sweden acted as a way to avenge old wrongs. Their premise for going to war is up for debate but i remember reading an article with a link that had the president of eSweden saying that the only reason for attacking eGermany was because they wanted to. I say the eUSA should Defend Germany and condemn the actions of the Swedes.

The trial period for eGermany has passed and they didn't get voted in, which automatically means (I assume) that they weren't accepted. So there is no "ripping Atlantis apart" because there is no eGermany in ATLANTIS.

I do not share your assuptions. If someone is put on probation for a period of time, which is to end with the assessment of the country's perfmorance coupled with the outlook to be promoted to full meber, I assume that, as long as no decision in this negotiation has been reached the old status remains unchanged for the time being.
Everything else would mean chaos.
And basing pretexts for war on assumptions...?
That sounds reasonable... don't it?

eGermany did not join Atlantis for protection. In fact Atlantis was not able to protect eGermany when it got invaded and lost 30% of her territory as a result of joining Atlantis.
We joined Atlantis, because we felt the nations in Atlantis were closer to us in nature, and because we felt that Atlantis was the alliance with a better moral background (I will have a hard time selling the latter to my citizes).
At the time we joined, we had enjoyed a deep cooperation with PEACE and would have been welcomed in their alliance with open arms. In fact they already assumed that we are de facto a PEACE nation, which explains the hatred towards us after we surprisingly decided to join Atlantis.
To conlcude, eGermany did not join Atlantis for protection, if that would have been the objective, we would have obviously joined PEACE.
