Training Corps The era of the whip comes to an end

There comes a time...

A month ago I chose October 15, 2011 as the date of my retirement as Commander of the Training Corps.



I joined the Training Corps at the end of November 2009. Ever since, I have been a member of the Training Corps. The Training Corps has been my home, my playing ground, my place to be. It has been a great home. Thanks to all of you, I have grown greatly as a player and a leader.

On September 2010 I became TC's XO and member of the JCS when Nuriessa was a Commander. Since then, I have had the objective to fight and represent the Training Corps and the eUS Military. My only hope is that I have made you proud and remained true to our mission and beliefs. Then I became the General on February 2010.



As I said, there comes a time. And right now it is time for me to resign as Commander of the Training Corps. I resign not because I am ready (I love TC too much) or because of RL (though RL is a bit crazy now). I resign because I wholeheartedly believe it is time for me to move on and allow the next wave of leaders to rise up. A new way of thinking and doing things always benefits an organization. As long as the new wave of leaders remembers and learns from past mistakes, innovation should be for the positive. And we have great leaders in TC.

I expressed my personal individual thanks and thoughts in the eUS Forum.

To everyone in TC, new and old. You are too many to name. But, I remember you all. You have provided me a great home ad a wonderful dungeon in this game. You are truly the very best we have to offer. You are the future of the eUS Military and the eUS. Make sure you are involved and that you learn. But, more importantly, make sure you teach. That is our mission, that is what is more important.

Future General Gryphon Skull, you have been a wonderful XO. You are old enough to be wise, your cane smacks the troops into submission and you have been a great friend. I leave TC with the knowledge that you will be a great Commander. After all, I taught you. 😛 Make me proud. The Era of the Whip yields to the Era of the Cane.
