Hello my fellow eAustralian friends, I know it has been a while since we talked but I came across an article that irked me, and I thought that I should address it. I am sure our CP feels no need to chime in on some of the claims on this article, but frankly he is a better person than I. The article that I am referring to is Binda’s article running for CP again (oh god) but fine that is her choice but in the article she attacks the communication between the government and the senate (my position) so I feel a need to say something in my defense.

As you can see, I messaged EVERY senator in order to tell them who I was, and to say if they had ANY questions to not hesitate to ask me either in a personal PM or on the forums. As you can also see I received some responses and questions, as well as people not replying. But what else can you do
😛. She continues on to claim that she asked a question in the forums and was not answered, well I remember this question and how do I remember it? Because I answered it…I answered it in 3 different ways but it still was not what she wanted, and for that I apologize I suppose. But my point being is that whenever a question has been asked I answer it and this whole “senate is being ignored” is ridiculous.
I could also show you all the ACTUAL post but it is in the sensitive section of the senate, which i no longer have access too :/. Now i will not be voting for Binda, not because Flatty is re-running, not even because of this flaming article but because of the way i have seen Binda treat others on the forum. I believe in giving everybody a fair shake but Binda's insulting and arrogant attitude has pushed me away greatly. And i fear what will happen if she were to become CP

Actually you said you couldn't give Cabinet info to the Senate and you said you would ask one of the Cabinet to give further information. They didn't. You weren't able to answer my Senate queries.
I'm not saying you didn't try to, but you were unable to. My saying that the Govt did not provide enough communication was aimed at the Government, not at your job of Senate liaison. Don't take it personally.
why was a senator (who knows better) asking for cabinet info? I could understand a new senator asking but not a congress medal whore.

t's for the liaison to make initial contact which he has done. If you have a query or question then you respond through that form communication.

For clarity: Nicky's role is the Executive's liaison to the Senate. It is not a Senate role. If we need feeding like milk, bread, the occasion pr0n magazine - Nick's the man to see.
Speaking of which, Flatty still has my gavel and he said he's not giving it back until I attend to his needs. After discussion, it was resolved he can keep it. Dirty gavels - Australia Says No!
