The Netherlands has decided to do what I never thought we would ever see, propose Norway as a NE. It is rather sad to see old friendships die in such a way. First I must mention the out pouring support from many of the eDutch themselves. Plenty agree that what the new power crazed Government in the Netherlands is doing is simply wrong and do not agree so please do not disregard all of the Dutch as bad people.
This month a leak in their Government leaked information that said there was whispers of plans to invade us. Our MoFA then made attempts to talk to the NL and try to find out why such a thing would happen. Because of my ties to the NL and of me knowing their CP, he actually messaged me wondering why we would think such a thing. He actually had the audacity to accuse van Spijck of being the one to leak this information even though it truly wasn't. He has remained very quiet since coming to Norway and I myself have only spoken to him once as he is staying true to Norway's wishes and staying out of our political arena for a while. The most ironic part about this, is that even though he directly accused van Spijck of starting these rumours, the leak came from the NL and he ended up proposing a NE on Norway anyways!
So should we be worried? No not at all. The Dutch are playing into what we want right now anyway. Let's let them have their fun and prove themselves to their new allies. Let them take our regions while we focus on the bigger enemy, the UK. The NL are no threat, when the time is right it will be easy to not only remove them from our lands, but chase them right back to their cores and capture their last remaining regions that their Polish masters allow them to keep. Then we will find their liar of a CP and display him in Oslo for all to see. When this happens they will realize their own mistakes, the Gods favour but one side, Asgard.

Not to worry, we have chosen different paths after the regroup in alliances. Which makes it possible to have a war, but that doesn't make anyone bad. Remember, this is still a game 😉
What we take issue with is your CP accusing one of your former comrades of trying to start a war, lying to us and saying he has no intentions of starting a war with us, but then...starts a war with us.

I meant van Spijck, he used lies to start the war with Belgium for instance and there are more instances of van Spijck lying to get his way.
Well like Ive said, he had nothing to do with any of this and the only one who lied to us was your current CP.

When did the NL apply to join Asgard exactly? I believe I was still in the NL which was over a year ago...
It was mainly Sweden who opposed further expanding, Norway always supported you. So attacking Norway in revenge of that seems a bit funny.

First of all, I'm a bit disappointed to see information out of private conversation be shared so openly. That we are at 'war', doesn't mean we have to be disrespectful.

At least, post all the evidence available when you accuse a foreign Country President of being a liar. I won't publish you replies: that's up to you.
1) This so called ''leak'' was out of a government PM thread of mine, in which novice officials named a shit load of countries we could ''possibly'' attack. It didn't serve any constructive value. (Thank god we knew about leaking before any constructive things were discussed later during the term: You are not approving of leaking now, are you?).
2) I didn't directly accuse Van Spijck, as can be seen. I just questioned the possibility as he 1) moved to eNorway a few days before 2) Hates this government so much he moved when he lost in the elections 3) is known for such tricks (example given: Belgium) 4) would be only senseable tie between people of my government and eNorway for leaks to travel.
3) This convo happened at the start of the month, when eNL was accused of preparing an aggression war against eNorway, based on personal conflicts (aka no good reason) between some of our citizens. (So don't be 'surprised' Van Spijck is mentioned). That was not my intention and that did not happen. This recent NE proposal is an unrelated chapter, which followed the Norway NE on the United Kingdom.

Its sad its come to this, I mean myself out of everybody who stuck up for you in the NL and then you so blatantly lie to me after we tried to smooth relations over between our nations.
And as for the leak Tonie, the information about the novice officials is not what I am talking about, I only heard about that today actually. The leak we heard earlier was completely different. Perhaps you should be more concerned with your citizens loyalties because it seems that many of your own do not even support this war, otherwise why would we keep coming into all this information?

I like you but this article is crap, the NE is to help out an ally and for fun for our citizens. People have indeed been talking on the forum about a 'random' attack but I and several others who don't consider Norway an enemy would have not accepted that, this is completely different as we are just putting our featherweight into the alliance scale on the side we have chosen. The refusal from Asgard has nothing to do with this NE but it has everything to do with our alliance orientation.
But oh well I dislike propaganda, maybe others consider it amusing.
Since when is eUK a member of Aurora? During the poll the gov told us Aurora was independant. Now it's obviously just another biatch alliance for Poland/Sirius.
1. NL isn't Aurora (yet)
2. UK isn't ally of Aurora
3. Aurora didn't ask NL to attack UK
4. I support NL's wishes to help their friend, that's what good allies do, but it doesn't have much to do with Aurora/Sirius

The fact that so many eDutch are already saying they will not fight Norway speaks volumes.
And Norway/Asgard has never been an "enemy alliance/nation" to the Netherlands...not until they made it so just now.
Who are saying that, besides GPN drones that still follow vS?
The only ones I've seen say they will not support NL are those who are friends with MdR who is now eNorwegian. Much more players have shown support for the war actually.
The people who have talked to us were not apart of GPN, do you think that I would be as stupid as to trust what some angry members of GPN have said? Give me some credit 2DG. Plenty of people do not agree with what is happening now, including people outside of GPN.
