This is an important announcement for the people of Ireland; its rulers pay closer attention.

There's a spectre haunting eIreland - the spectre of Banism. Banism is an ideology rooted in the social progression of e-nations, as its founder MikeBane detailed in his philosophy, the ideology recognizes that the transformative power in eRepublik stems from individual within the social context of the community. In order to strengthen our community we need to reach out to the individual and engage the individual, by doing so we encourage the individual to engage the community.

The right-wing of eIreland has been thoroughly disempowered throughout the epicenters of government. The longest left-wing party in eIreland, the Independent Labour Party, has maintained its kingholder position within eIrish politics. No doubt this Party does hold some radical players, unfortunately as a Party it has been institutionalized and no longer a radical party. What alternatives have they sought to offer in recent history? How have they, since seizing influence and State power from the bourgeois Kunts, sought to develop our nation ideologically? How have they equipped the eIrish people to politically arm themselves with the tools for e-revolution?

The purely reformist nature of the ILP is what has killed its revolutionary fervor over the years. What happened to non-State solutions? What happened to hosting community events, pages, and shared activities which enriched our eIrish community? The ILP is a "broad" left-wing party, much like the real life ILP in Scotland's Red Clydeside history, whose downfall will ultimately be due to the fact they have not developed a coherent singular ideology. There is no ideological foundation in which to hold other members accountable for their actions, policies, or effectively mobilizing party members. Players invest more time when they know what exactly they are fighting for.

The Revolutionary Banist Party has a solid ideological framework in which we have specific goals in mind and details on how we are going to achieve them. Our goals are not given with hopes of winning congress seats or the presidency, we only participate in CP elections to gauge other parties and candidates, our goals are sought for the good of the whole community - by suggesting a radical transformation of how we play the game and how we strengthen our community.

One of our main goals so far is the establishment of the Dublin Commune. The first call met with little success; it is clear the masses do not possess the level of consciousness necessary for the formation of a radical counter-institution to combat the State's power. Many are still under false consciousness, believing that purpose and value is derived by State-driven initiatives rather than by the players themselves. The full details on the Commune can be read HERE.
