The British army is back
After the closer of the B.A.F and the failed attempt to set up a national unit, Suicide Squad will flag the British banner and reclaim our old name,it is scandalous not to have a named British Army,the elite bureaucrats in government should stick to pen pushing and let the real men control the armies.
We boast over 35 active fighters, we deal damage for our home nation and will not let down all the good British Patriots in our country.
Running a top military unit is hard work as the B.A.F have proven,yesterday they had over 110 men,mostly dead fighters with only 10 active each day,this was due poor management which lead to a grave situation,many warned but the top brass didn't listen.
The British Army commanders has years of experience and we place retention high on our list.
That is the big difference between amateurs and professionals. The UK has many good units run by good people so in future government should leave well alone.
So here we can see the British Army name back on the leader board today.
We are back,we fight with British pride and we shall defend our shores.

We are setting up S.A.S death squads to strike in the heart of battle and win vital points,doing large amount of damage is all well and good but winning battle points and victory's is what real armies are about.

sure, but these goons cry about the National MU now when they went out of their way to sabotage it and refuse to work together when they had the chance. It was these guys who aggressively sought to defund the unit and remove the competition

I too would have argued that we can't afford a National MU.
When I was in DC, I never left to join the others in the MU tourny's. I was proud of my MU, just as these 'goons' are. Nowt wrong with that.
Wasn't just 1 MU that poo pood the national MU .We all did.National MU wont work.simple as that.Been tried numerous times.Legion was a fantastic MU and was massive in its time and was as close to a "national MU"as yo can get....but run by private individuals.and those individuals ran out of steam.......bit like me running the RN all those years
We had plenty of cash to fund the National MU when I got it through. It failed because certain people in the eUK were determined to see it fail, its a self perpetuating cycle. The only reason it 'won't work' is because people are too proud and petty to let it.
I don't think there was ever much public enthusiasm for the BAF.
Addaway, you didn't have enough money. Ask Carlini, ask Rodney how much a week they were spending on supplying (as Mick has stated, the only MU thats come close to being a 'National MU') Legion. They were some of the richest guys eUK had...
Some people play no part in politics, why should they be not allowed to express themselves via MU's? We have some great MU's that cater for all tastes. Why on earth do you want to get rid of that for a generic large MU which is devoid of personality.
I'll assume it failed due to the rush job and poor marketing, not because people are petty and/or proud. For an MU to succeed it needs a few things. A sense of stability, an interesting theme and to start off with enticing supplies. Without it, it will always fail. An eUK Government led MU will never have any of these. Leave it to the private sector.
Dapper did want to join the NMU, the condition being we all went to his MU and renamed it with someone else in charge, he was all for it. I thought that was weird and decided against it.

At the end of the day we are all proud of our MUs.We dont want to abandon them because of all the fucking hours and money it has taken to build them up.

Part of the problem with the recent attempt at a NMU is that it was largely influenced by political motivation and the fact some people felt they could co-ordinate damage better. I recall there were objections to the issue as to who would be in charge - anyone mentioned was considered objectionable to others.
People from other MUs had doubts how it would work, thought their own commanders were doing a good job of directing newbie players to the right battles (oldfags like myself are experienced enough to work out the best place to fight) and generally didn't see how a NMU would improve the eUK's ability to win battles.
Those determined to have one never addressed the issues, went ahead with it anyway and then started to complain when everyone didn't rush to join it. I think quite a few people realised it was doomed from the start and so stayed put. Legion worked as it was a large MU with existing culture, history and set up and only needed people to join in their own time. The NMU was too forced...The NMU was a political white elephant of an idea.

Well from what I've been told, the NMU was created because it was a required condition of joining some shit tier alliance. It's no wonder people didn't rush to abandon all their hard work and effort...
Either the Government taxes us all to high heaven and controls every aspect of the game for us or we carry on being a privately run country, with citizens that wish to create programs, MU's, giveaways, etc etc. While the Government has very little to do like we have done for years.
