Hello people
So you will have already seen I am going to run for CP. I dont want to go on and on with details so here is my terms that I will try and implement.
The taxes will be low and the work tax will not go above 1%.
Minimum wage will be raised to around 0.15.
The players will be able to fight in training wars to help them earn medals.
The country will get stricter controls on who comes in. Therefore me and others have decided the euk become a republic. This will help prevent parties being pto’ed and if anybody helps with a pto it would be against the constitution, I'll hold talks with my advisors on who can be granted by performing background checks and allowing law abiding citizens that are likely to fight for a eUK MU to have granted citizenship.
The public of the eUK all work and contribute to the country so they are going to be consulted about every issue before it happens. We would do this through articles and messages.
With the issues of Foreign Affairs I will attempt to form stronger bonds and international relationships.
We are going to grow this country and get pride of place amongst the rest of the other countries. We will fight harder in wars and become a more dominant country that people will want to move to trade with. I will also consider taking the euk out of Sirius and helping us to find a more sustainable alliance that can help us grow and become a better nation, we need to get the UK back to the top we need to become powerful as well as maintaining respect amongst the other nations.

Good luck but a constitution means jack sh*t without the admins backing it, and we both know that won't happen, We had one in Aussie land on the old forums and I tore the thing up as well as all the red tape and the country has never run smoother.
One thing you can't do is try to over ride in game mechanics as you will always find opposition.
Well i can see where your coming from but the admins wont have to abck it as it would just be a UK constitution to cut down on pto threats. The mechancis of the UK will stay the same just controls will be implemented to insure a safe, working country without threat of a pto strike. The ingame mechnaics would not be changed to allow this though.
Therefore it would only symbolic and with no actual effect in-game, am I right? It's just something to fool the eyes of the many?
In order for such a measure to work, you would need the support of all top five, six, maybe seven parties in eUK. Without that, you would have no control over who gets sent again in Congress and thus you wouldn't be able to "punish" anyone. Also, bear in mind that you need the support of the majority of each party, not only the support of the PPs.
So, no need to delay my conclusion... Come back with that support and we may try to believe you.

Half of your own party fight for Serbian MUs, and your leaders are the reason we need stricter controls on citizenship. How do you justify a statement like this when you are VP of Vendetta?

No offence, William, but this manifesto is just rave. You should at least have the courtesy to support your proposals with one-two arguments.
Other than that, yeah...
- The taxation stuff are minor changes.
- The constitution won't happen.
- The Immigration Reform is none of your business. That's the Congressmen's along with the PP's job.
- and the training war is something everybody proposed so far.
None of these arguments aren't strong enough to convince someone with a backbone vote in your favour. Sure, that would be a pretty decent manifesto for a Speaker Election, Congress Election, etc., but it's not CP material.
Your only "strong" argument and I'd say the most important of your whole so called programme, is the abandonment of Sirius. Too bad, you didn't take the time to explain to us why you want that, how are you going to accomplish that, which alliance you are hoping to join, what are you basing on when you believe we will be accepted, etc.
I'm waiting for a new article from you, a serious article worth taking into consideration.

These are a lot of nice words, and they sound good on screen, but I have to agree with previous comments. A constitution, while it seems a nice idea, would be extremely hard to put into place, as you have to work with Congress, and impossible to enforce. Immigration controls also can't be enforced because game mechanics allow a CM to let in anybody who applies, and you need the cooperation of every CM and PP. I don't see that happening. Plenty of people in plenty of countries have tried. Being a "dominant" country is not likely to happen on our own, either. We have strong fighters already who fight hard, but we don't have the numbers of the top countries. Without comment about Sirius, which everyone agrees has problems (but so do all alliances, sooner or later), we would not be in a position to be in a strong alliance without diplomatic skills and networks of foreign contacts. Who would you propose to supply these?
