Join the new world

I just put my name down to be a senator for the NSW region under the APP ticket (the real APP which actually will be fielding candidates, not a play party).

Whilst many people will bring up jingoism and talk tough we must recognise that our place in The New World is not as strong as the place of the real Australia and act accordingly to our capabilities in the game. That said we also shouldn't accept invasion lying down and must ensure that anyone who tries is effectively taught that trying it will have severe consequences.

These consequences are not likely to be handed out by us, but by our allies, it was after all our allies who allowed us to repel the eIndo invaders and even take one of their regions, we could not have done that on our own (and it's an open question how long we'll be able to keep it, I'd almost be tempted to set up a betting pool on that if it wouldn't just cause people to try to throw the RWs against us).

On other matters we seem to be doing reasonably well, our budget at least appears to be in pretty good shape (especially given recent circumstances) and the ministries seem to be running pretty well.

Oh and if elected I'll do my best to represent all eAus citizens regardless of where you are in the world and am willing to be contacted by game mail or forum PM by members of the public.
