SCAMmed, It Happened to Me

SCAM (Senior Citizens Assistance Money) was a program developed by George (Old Man) Custer to assist returning players who are older than Jesus and twice as poor. The low down is all gov't programs and Plato are geared to help new players but somewhere there are a pile of old players who try to come back and just don't get those luxuries. SCAM is an independantly run program sponsered by Old F*cks United that relies on crowd funding and independant resources to help some old guy reach his full potential. A returning player may have never seen such events as Plato implimenting upgraded training grounds, the death of the economy and WAMing to self sufficientcy. We aim to correct such things and help those players that don't fit into other programs.

Now the real meat of this, I'm not just a SCAM fundraiser, I've been SCAMmed myself. For those that know I quit erep approx 6 months ago. At that time the program was just getting started and I donated everything I had towards it. Quitting is a relative term, I did stay barely active, checking in maybe bi-weekly, write an article, chat, but I'd quit playing. Only a few short weeks ago someone convinced me to return and undertake playing again. Sue me I'm a sucker for punishment. Of course I was completely broke 0 CC 0 gold, I'd given it all away, tough place to start. So I applied to SCAM, accepted easily we won't overlook I had some advantage, and I was an easy case since I actually had fully upgraded training grounds and food factories to be self sufficient. In no time at all I was provided with CC to cover taxes to restart my own prodution lines and a few gold to get me rolling. I had some left over damage boosters and energy bars so with picking a few timely battles I pulled out a couple fast battle heros and bam, in two weeks the first traning contract sale I could suddenly afford and be on a full training program.

The long story short is SCAM works, so why not help out some Old F*ck today. By endorsing this article all funds go directly into the SCAM fund. Larger donations can be sent directly to either myself or George Armstrong Custer

Kaptain Kidd and Illguy are the poster boys of the SCAM Program.
especially Illguy-- comes back after a few years off to find this New World as foreign a place as waking up on friggin' Mars. we SCAM him, now he's self sufficient for both Food and Weapons, Trains righteously every day, and has the motivation to be active in his Party and his MU.
the system-- at least OUR system-- does work.

I'm barely 2-clicking these days, so Kaptain Kidd will be handling the next SCAM collection and disbursement. he's helped with each of the past three, so he knows how to run the SCAM.
