Our options for voting CP sucked, as did the results, now we have to dig our way out of this mess and Rylde has proven he can help us.

Rylde has proven he can get us wiped and can run away when we're at the mercy of eSpain. Rylde can help Rolo but I doubt anyone can help Rylde with his problems.

I've never understood why people blame the CP for getting us wiped.

Spain attacked us. This is a war game and we have very few options for war. At least we are in real war. I'm happy we are actually playing the game instead of in constant two click mode. Actually having to think about strategy because we are in a position of weakness. Have not come up with a winning strategy but at least I'm trying to think of one

eCanadian Congress does not need to approve a NE that was initially set in motion by Spain

We can respond to their NE, by approving a NE of our own, and gain an extra 10%, but when the War is set in motion by the other side, our congress does not need to approve its en-action...

Spain attacked us in response to us (Rylde) attacking the UK. But any hoot, the point is, that a Rylde Presidency is no better or worse than any of the other Presidencies we've had the last few months. He's just loud and talks a big game. Any time eCan gets cocky or adventurous she gets her arse kicked. See Rylde and EPD, both pushed their luck and both got us wiped.

In business I have learned to always focus on solutions and not who is to blame for the problem. It is amazing how many people will waist all their energy making sure they are not to blame when they should be focused on the solution. Assigning proper blame solves nothing. Once you direct everyone's energy on the solution, and that you have no interest in figuring out who is to blame, the problem is usually quickly solved.

Problem: We're occupied, have no production bonuses, belong to a small alliance that is nearly wiped, and have entrenched resentment between certain groups of players.
Solution: Ignore the big problems and focus on the small one(s) we can fix, such as preparing for the Resistance Wars that will eventually get us unoccupied.

That a good start?

Yes, and how do we do this? We do not waist our CAD and our energy on RW's we have no hope in. We complete are DO's and save our bars. We wait until the moment is right. No one has any idea when that will be but I assure you that moment will come. Spain will eventually have bigger fish to fry. They might deny us a congress this month, but will there citizens really accept that as their primary focus a 2nd month? I don't think so. A month is a long time in this game.

@Rolo: I had forgotten that Spain was the one that attacked us. Also, Congress approved the UK war that provoked Spain.

Whether we start the war or not, it is never uniquely the CP's fault.
