Presidential Elections; Interview new President!

Dear Readers,

As always, The Eye of Tomorrow publishes an interview with the new country president after the elections, this month isn't any different! This time, The Valeyard got re-elected to president of our country, with 78 votes of the 106 votes registered he may govern our country for another month. In percentages, his victory would look something like this: 73.58% of 100%.

The Eye of Tomorrow wishes you, the reader, a great time while reading the interview.



1. What do you expect from your current government?
I hope some activity, last month we had some problems with this matter in some ministries and I hope we can do better this month. I have a different team this month also with people who have not been in government before in eNetherlands and people who are pretty new to Erepublik but mainly they are people who wants to prove themselves.

2. What do you want to achieve in this term?
I don’t really have things I want to achieve, I just hope that this will be a good month for eNL without too much fuzz and no fighting in our little community.

3. Are there any key problem(s) in the eNetherlands that we need to solve immediately?
One of the major issues this month is the relations between eNetherlands and ePoland. There is much unrest with eNL citizens and discontent over Poland and how we are treated, much think they see us like nothing more then their puppet. I do understand their scepticism especially after the recent event where Poland “requested” to NE them to reset determination of Western Netherlands. This had to be done right away and didn’t give us any time to discuss it or anything. A lot of people feel it disrespected eNL in how they just did what they wanted.

4. Have you got any idea to solve (it/them)?
I think we should open a dialogue with ePoland about the situation and on the relation between our two countries and on how to improve the current status. There should be open communication and mutual respect from both sides. Only if this is achieved we can have a healthy relation between our two countries.

5. What are our most important allies
Our North Sea Protection Pact allies are currently one of our most important allies, countries like eUK, Germany, Belgium, Denmark. Other important allies is ofcourse our big brother to the east Poland who we many dealings. There are ofcourse other countries who are our allies like for instance USA who will help us if we ever need it. All in all I think we’re in a good position.

6. What do you think of our current alliances?
We’re currently not in an alliance but are pro Sirius. We moved from trying to be in Aurora last month to being pro Sirius because we didn’t think we would be accepted in Aurora after many months of trying and instead they tried putting us in an sister alliance. There are also some Pro Sirius alliances like ROOT, I think we should look into maybe joining one of those possibly.

7. Do you think we stand a chance against the New World?
Alone we don’t stand a chance, we are a small country with just a small number of citizens. If something would happen to us or if we would be attacked by almost any country we would not stand a chance luckily we have allies, we are pro sirius so if anything would happen I would think we should stand a chance to anything that comes our way.

8. What are your thoughts about the current situation in the New World?
It’s currently reasonably quiet, nothing major going on. Wars as usual especially with the current missions.people fight a lot because of the missions while it’s not really worth it. Missions rewards like most of the time aren’t even that great.

9. Do you think the eNetherlands is supporting you?
I hope they are, I got support of most parties but that could also be because of the lack of a real opponent. I know some people have a problem with me, I know of people who have been talking about me behind my back and telling lies, those kind of people I do not take serious they have a personal problem with me and nothing will change their mind. If somebody disagrees with me I am open to listen to their problems with me or what I am doing as long as it’s well argumented.

10. What do you want to say to the people of the eNetherlands?
Thank you again for voting for me, I hope I will do well this month I will surely do my utmost to make this a good month
