Eanp 17-1, by our reporter:
"It has only been hours that the MPP with our (former?)ally has ended. And due to this it is inpossible for us to fight in a war.
Citizen claim it to be a huge mistake of our president ThomasRED, as this could have been foreseen by him. A new MPP is currently being voted for, but it seems to be a day to late.
People say that this is another mistake he made, and their trust in him is fading by the second. Could his lack of skill cause the end of his leadership ?"
I asked a passerby, a gentlemen, who rather stayed anonymous spoke:
"the expiration of this alliance could have been foreseen by our President and our MoFA and failing to renew it on time can thus be blamed on the government; In contrast to last time, this time, failing to renew the alliance has implications for eUNL as citizens won't be able to fight in todays war"

Now on an completely other subject. I personally disagree with the choice that our 'government' made to extend the MPP with Turkey.
I'd rather see a MPP with UK, since they have been helping ENL for months now.
And what has Turkey, - next to give us the possibilty to fight ever done for us?
NOTHING!
I think it is high time to return the favor for EUK, and help them with their ongoing wars.

Where should I start...
First of all, the President didn't start the ingame voting late, the congress was still voting on the forums, and this vote was closed just today.

But there is some blame for this reporter as well. Go read game mechanics about MPP's with neighbours, and the effects regarding automatic DOW's, and ingame articles. The people are the ones that paid for a MPP with Turkey, so the congress voting on this is no more then a formality.

And u aren't aware of all. The main advantage of the mpp with turkey is that it allow us a daily TW paid by phoenix and eden 😛. UK won't offer that for us. We haven't signed it to help turkey to fight, we keep our forces to protect ourself. Signing a MPP with UK would then be a nonsense as we won't be able to help them that much, while the opposite will be right too (even if atm it's kinda quiet here...).

Do you know what is a MPP ? It's an alliance...
So there is two side.
You can't sign if both sides are not ready.
Turkey national bank have been hacked, and the vote of the MPP was delayed.
UNL have also helped Turkey to pay it part of the MPP, because of what happened, acting like a true ally.
Moreover, statement like "what did Turkey for us" is quite a shame... I guess you won't think the same next month, when Turkey will have know his babyboom...

People are so quick to criticize. 1 Day without a war won't kill the nation.
I partly agree with ThomasRED, and with the reporter.. there was asked for money quite some time ago... and when we had more than 5 days left we had more than enough money collected by CITIZENS of the UNL to propose the MPP... I don't know when the bank was hacked and when it was undone but it wasn't unaccesible in 5 days... and another point is, there could have been temporary funds to cover the MPP temporarily

There was a MPP accepted yesterday and 4 days ago.
So I am supporting the reporter in this issue...
However I don't agree on the things said about: - MPP with UK, this has a lot of consequences as it will give us direct war to Spain. It will mean the removal of the UNL from the map most likely as we can block either Poland or Spain continuously. (which they won't like)
And turkey has been a good ally to us.
What i can say about the delay is that the MPP have been proposed in the minute after the final talks with Ertugrul Han, the President of Turkey, ended. The vote on forum and the donations have started before because the UNL was ready, but not eTurkey. That's what i tried to explain when i said an alliance is about two sides... 😉

This is sad. One day without a fight and people are pointing fingers and screaming havoc. Look there will be plenty of times we will not be able to fight so better get used to it because that is elife.

If we have a MPP with eUK or France and they will be attacked by Spain, we will be in indirect war with Spain. That means we will be taken over soon. That's why we choose for turkey.
1) It is UNL and not eNL
2) Why do you (lots of people) always attack ThomasRed ??
I agree with ThomasRed's choice to make the MPP with Turkey, every country has to have MPPs in order to fight in wars and get experience, at the time Turkey was a good choice. ThomasRed made a good presidential decision.
But due to some questionable conduct on the part of some players in Turkey, I wouldnt support making anymore MPPs with them until there have been some necessary changes.
