Open Letter to eRepublik Admins
(sorry for my poor english and Google translator)

Today I come to propose to eRepublik managers an idea that took me weeks studying it (lie, I thought yesterday).
The idea is to raise some changes that make the game more attractive in the day of the elections congress and the previous days .

At the moment of carrying out the congressional voting, at the citizens does not matter where we are, or in the country which has citizenship or in another country. We can always vote. Well, my idea is go back at how the ratings were made before.



Now the presidents of the parties will continue to make lists of their congressional candidates as before, with a maximum number of candidates to Congress varying as the number of regions having such country (as done so far, this does not change)

Here are the changes I propose:
A citizen, for vote for their party must first be in one country region at same time it is part of the country, either original or conquered.
Within this region will vote the party you want, regardless of whether or not top5.



The counting of votes would take place in each of the regions, obtaining a ranking of matches in each region.

Hoy vengo a proponer a los administradores de eRepublik, una idea que llevo semanas estudiando (mentira, se me ocurrió ayer).
La idea es hacer algunos cambios que hagan más atractivo el juego los días de elecciones al congreso y anteriores.

Tal y como está la actual forma de llevar a cabo las votaciones al congreso, la ciudadanía no importa si está en el país del cual tiene la ciudadanía, o si está en otro país. Siempre podrá votar. Pues bien, mi idea es retomar en parte la antigua forma en que se hacían las votaciones.



Ahora por un lado los presidentes de los partidos seguirán haciendo las listas de sus candidatos al congreso como hasta ahora, con un número máximo de candidatos a congresistas variable según la cantidad de regiones que tenga dicho país (como se hace hasta ahora, esto no varía)

Aquí vienen los cambios que propongo:
Un ciudadano, para poder votar a sus congresistas deberás estar primeramente en alguna región que en ese momento sea parte de su país, ya sea originaria o conquistada.
Dentro de esa región votará al Partido que quiera, independientemente de si es top5 o no.



El recuento de votos se haría en cada una de las regiones, obteniendo una clasificación de partidos en cada región.

Y para repartir los congresistas, se haría según la tabla que adjunto (imagen 1), de modo que el partido más votado en cada región siempre obtendrá al menos un congresista y dependiendo del número de regiones que el país tenga, podrán conseguir más, así como los partidos que queden en segundo, tercer y cuarto lugar en cada región.



A todo esto habría que añadir o tomar en cuenta, los plazos para computar el número de regiones, los plazos para que los presidentes puedan presentar sus listas, etc.

Tomando como base la tabla (imagen 1), pasaré a explicar con un ejemplo.
Un país, pongamos Italia, tiene seis regiones el día en que se toma como referencia para establecer los congresistas que saldrán en las elecciones:
Sicilia, calabria, basilicata, Apulia, Campania y Mosile



Cada uno de sus ciudadanos votará en una de las regiones, en la que esté en ese momento, de modo que al final de las votaciones en cada región habrá un número de votos a cada partido.



Digamos que hay 8 partidos políticos:

Partido A, Partido B, Partido C, Partido D, Partido E, Partido F, Partido G y Partido H

y en cada una de las regiones obtienen los votos de la siguiente tabla (pulsa sobre la misma para verla más grande):



Con estos resultados, y con la tabla anterior (imagen 1), tenemos que en cada región el partido más votado obtendrá 3 congresistas, el segundo obtendrá 2 congresistas y el tercero un congresista. Con esto, vemos que suman 36 congresistas, faltando 4 para completar los 40 que el juego estipula para un país con 6 regiones.
Pues bien, estos 4 congresistas saldrían de los partidos políticos que hayan quedado en cuarto lugar en cada región, con más votos. Esto es, el Partido G en Apulia, el Partido D en campania, el Partido G en Mosile y el Partido F en Basilicata.
