My Run for Party President: An Open Letter to All Federalists

Day 3,029, 19:50 Published in USA USA by RegisPhilbin

Fellow Federalists:

In a universe where Donald Trump, host of reality TV show The Apprentice, is running for President of the RL United States, it only seems fitting that I, Regis Philbin, host of semi-reality TV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, am now running to be the Party President of the Federalist Party of the eUnited States of America.

You may be asking yourself: why should we support this crackpot for PP? Because I have the experience to do the job.

You may be asking yourself: how does this crackpot have experience in politics when he's only been around for 2 months? Because this isn't my first time in eRepublik politics. I have participated with different countries under different names in different time periods.

First I was Lanthanide, operating under the eUK. I was twice a member of their Congress and I ran their Mastermind quiz show program. I quit due to real-life business and asked that my account be permalocked.

Next I was Actinide, operating under the eNetherlands. I was the State Secretary of Information (basically the equivalent of a deputy Secretary of Media here), the captain of Regiment 5 of the Dutch Armed Forces, and a 1-time congressman. I multi-ed in order to purposefully quit the game, and that account too was permalocked.

Now I'm here. I've been a part of the eUSA community for two months and this time I have no intentions of quitting or only staying for a short term. I believe that our Federalist Party has been prosperous over the last few terms due to the awesome leadership team the Party has assembled. We have an amazing core group of Federalists dedicated to the prosperity of the Party. I would be honored to consider myself a part of that group if you'll let me. This is why I'm running for PP. I hope I can earn your nomination on the Fed Party Forums ( http://fedparty.forumotion.com/t8578-march-party-president-nomination-thread#178804 ). Then, after I've earned three nominations and can get on the ballot, I hope I can win in the primaries with a well-fought campaign. I'm looking forward to these efforts and these next few days!

Sincerely,

Regis Philbin
