Monetary Market Woes

I thought I would let you all know what I've been up to and how I feel about a few things. Recently, I reached 100 subscribers. I am proud of that. Ten more times and I get my medal, so i will try to keep it interesting to attract new subscribers and keep old ones happy. A few of you have contacted me about the contests. Apparently, you like them so I will continue that tradition.

Another milestone to speak of, is my new rank of Captain. I currently use Q1 guns in almost every battle. What baffles me is why Q2 guns are twice as expensive and only offer me 8 more damage points. That seems like less value for the money.

Yesterday, I was notified that my invited friend has just reached level 6. Five gold for me. Nine more to go.

Okay, enough bragging. The real meat of this issue deals with the monetary market. No doubt some you have experienced frustration (to put it mildly) with the current changes. I am disheartened by the recent changes myself. I attended the monetary market seminar held by citizenslave before these changes. I was excited about a new aspect of this game I could utilize for profit. I even wrote an article about it. Then one day it all goes wrong. Most brokers agree that this "bug" is making a mess of things. I noticed one citizen commented that the MM, as it currently is, is back to it's original form. He states that our preferred way of doing things was the bug and now it's fixed. Our beloved, banned President thinks that the value of the USD is decreasing because all our gold is being used in the war. Whatever the reason or cause, there are many who are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. Some are extremely angry, for this is an important and time consuming part of their eRep experience. Don't get me wrong. You can still profit on the MM. But there citizens, with time on their hands, who can manipulate the market so your offer barely sees the light of day. It was not like this before.

To expand my involvement with this game, I was considering buying a business. Unwilling to wait any longer, I considered buying gold with RL money. After what's been happening within the game, I hesitate. For example, I am aware of a recent battle that was cut short due to a glitch in the game. I am aware that people hack into other peoples accounts and steal gold. I am aware that, due to a bug in the system, Emerick was screwed in the last Presidential election. I could go on, and so could many of you. How can I pay real money to an admin infested?
