Let's give Mexico a hand

As you all know, South and Central America is a hotbed of activity these days, after some impressive babybooms and some international realignments. We are literally witnessing the rise of new superpowers, and the shift from the Balkans to South America as the focus of the e-world is well underway.

Croatia's relationships with the countries in this region have changed recently. Argentina and Colombia are moving towards the TWO alliance, while we are seeing new friendships with other countries begin to grow.



One such country is Mexico. A long time ago Croatia occupied Mexican regions in an attempt to escape the Balkan cage, and this meant many in the Mexican community grew up knowing Croatia as their enemy. There was little to no bad feeling on our part once we had left Mexican regions, and we were only enemies in the battlefields while we were fighting for Colombia. This changed when Colombia began on the path to join TWO/ACT, and some friendly negotiating from both sides meant we decided to sign an MPP. Since then, Croats and Mexicans have been building bridges, growing closer, and fighting in each other's battles.

Unfortunately the overwhelming damage deficit the rest of the world is facing against TWO meant that this month, Mexico has been wiped and left without a congress. With little money left from the defence of their country, and no way to move any tax income out of the national accounts, Mexico now needs some help.

So Croatia, to help cement our partnership with Mexico, I think it'd be a superb and generous gesture for the citizens of Croatia to band together to donate some HRK so that we can pay for Mexico's half of the MPP cost. If you are willing, please send any currency to my account, and I will collect it together and send it to the Mexican country accounts. I will edit this article to list everyone who donates to the effort, and I will cover any shortfall.
