eEesti Kaitseministeerium on viimase paari nädala jooksul tegelenud peamiselt eEesti Kaitsejõudude reorganiseerimisega ning proovilepanekuga. siin (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rqB5geiZADuNvmag7ZXl6xQ&output=html) on võimalik näha olemasolevaid üksuseid (Kaitseväe rühmad ning Kaitseliidu grupid) ning liikmeid. Sealhulgas on kohandatud foorumisiseseid kasutajagruppe ja alamfoorumeid. Eemaldati üksus The Foreign Battlegroup, mille liikmed integreeriti Kaitseväkke ja Kaitseliitu. Jätkuvalt osaleb eEesti ka PEACE sõjamängudel.

Loodi ka firma Riiklik relvaladu, mis tegeleb eEesti Kaitsejõudude tarbeks relvade tootmise ja ladustamisega. eEesti Kaitseministeeriumi finantsaruanne (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rfFTwtns9paR7FSV3oPt8vQ&output=html) näitab muuhulgas ka investeeringuid ka kulutusi, mis seotud eelmainitud firmaga.

Kaitsejõududega liitumiseks tuleb täita see avaldus (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=cjdkeWdJc0JGaXFPdkY3dF9ZNjlCbnc6MA). eEesti Kaitsejõudude koosseisus on hetkel 71 sõdurit, kellest 59 on Kaitseväe ja 12 Kaitseliidu liikmed, kusjuures ainult 5 neist pidevad.

Sõjaliselt on siiani toimunud 2 organiseeritud tegevust:
* Latgale ja Zemgale kaitsmine Soome-Läti sõjas (tulid ilmsiks mitmed tõsised probleemid Kaitsejõudude töös)
* Treeningpäev Argentiina-Tšiili treeningsõjas (jagati minimaalne hulk relvi testimaks rühmasüsteemi toimimist)

Lühiajaline arengukava:
* Moodustada Kaitseväe üksus pataljon, mis koondab enda alla kuni 4 rühma ning loodetavasti detsentraliseerib varustuse jagamist.
* Liigitada rühmi ja sõdureid vastavalt füüsilistele omadustele
* Täpsustada, parandada avalikku teavet Kaitsejõudude ning sõdurikohustuste/võimaluste kohta
* Planeerida treeningpäevade toimumine ning toimumistingimused
* Üritada koostööd välisministeeriumiga, omandamaks (saadikute kaudu) sõjaliselt kasulikku informatsiooni

Pikaajaliselt loodame ka teostada treeningpäeva, mis sisaldaks endas reisi välismaale ning luua ka suhteid reaalseteks liitlaskaitsemissioonideks.

The eEstonian Ministry of Defense has, during the last few weeks, been busy mainly with reorganizing and testing the structure of the eEstonian Military and Defense Forces. It is possible to see the present membership structure of the Defense Forces (Squads of the Defense Force and Groups of the Defense League) here (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rqB5geiZADuNvmag7ZXl6xQ&output=html). In addition, some usergroups and subforums in the forums have been altered to fit the newer structure. The Foreign Battlegroup, an unit previously present for soldiers not speaking Estonian, was abolished, its members integrated into the Defense Force and the Defense League. eEstonia also keeps on participating in the PEACE war games.

The National Weapons Reserve was created to manufacture and store weapons for use by the eEstonian Military and Defense Forces. The Financial Report of the eEstonian Ministry of Defense (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rfFTwtns9paR7FSV3oPt8vQ&output=html) displays, among other things, investments and expenses related to the company.

To join the Defense Forces one must fill this form (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=cjdkeWdJc0JGaXFPdkY3dF9ZNjlCbnc6MA). Presently there are 71 soldiers in the eEstonian Military and Defense Forces, of which 59 are in the Defense Force and 12 in the Defense League (only 5 of those are permanent members).

Thus far two organized military actions have been undertaken:
* The protection of Latgale and Zemgale in the Latvia-Finland war (several serious deficiencies were identified in the structure)
* A Training Day utilizing the Argentina-Chile training war (a minimal amount of weapons was distributed to test the 'squad system')

Short-term improvement plans:
* Form battalions of up to 4 Squads in the Defense Force, hopefully decentralizing the distribution of weapons
* Reorganize groups and soldiers according to their physical properties
* Provide more quality information about the eEstonian Military and Defense Forces and the tasks and possibilities of soldiers
* Plan the terms and times of Training Days
* Attempt cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to obtain (via embassadors) information of military importance

In the long term we hope to carry out a foreign Training Day (where soldiers have to physically travel) and to also form relations to take part in actual defense missions.
