Honorable Battle

Today I had the honor to fight for our American allies in Mindanao while my countrymen were vigilantly keeping watch against enemies of our President's choosing. I paid my own way, weapons, gifts and tickets. After contributing 1492 damage to our ally's defenses, I rest tonight in my Kyushu home, knowing that I have fought my best.

If I had doubted before that my decision to quit our army was right, I need only look to the joy I feel in the knowledge that my battle was freely chosen and personally financed. As I take up arms to defend our allies, they may freely choose to do likewise when our cause is grim.

There are many ways of the warrior, yet this is the way wherein I have found my pride..
