ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS:

First big holiday in the fate of Orthodoxs is Saint George

He was Roman soldier for Syria Palaestina and a priest in the Guard of Diocletian, who is venerated as a Christian martyr. In hagiography Saint George is one of the most venerated saints in the Catholic (Western and Eastern Rites), Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, and the Oriental Orthodox churches. He is immortalized in the tale of Saint George and the Dragon and is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. His memorial is celebrated on 23 April, and he is regarded as one of the most prominent military saints.

Next is Saint Nicholas:
.

At the end there is NEW YEAR!!!

We will say bye-bye 2011!Welcome 2012!Yeee
Time when we are on ours PC's or drinking at friends home.

On 1st January we are like that guy up! 😃

CATHOLICS:

Its diffirent at the catholics.First there is Christmas and then New year!

Christmas is time when catholics are home with their families. They are celebrating and eat lean food.In that day we should help poor and sick people.

And then there is New Year.At 31th.MORE FIREWORKS!

MUSLIMS:

5th december:

Ashura has been a day of fasting for Sunni Muslims since the days of the early Muslim community. It marks two historical events: the day Nuh (Noah) left the Ark, and the day that Musa (Moses) was saved from the Egyptians by Allah.

Shi'a Muslims in particular use the day to commemorate the martyrdom of Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet, in 680 CE.

In Shi'ite communities this is a solemn day: plays re-enacting the martyrdom are often staged and many take part in mourning rituals.

Every year in London Shi'a Muslims gather for a mourning procession and speeches at Marble Arch. The procession attracts up to 3000 men, women and children from many different ethinic backgrounds.

And also like all religions in the World muslims celebrates New Year at 31th December.
Happy New Year and Allah bless you my muslim friends\

JEWS:
20th December:

Chanukah / חנוכה

Hanukkah (Hebrew: חֲנֻכָּה, usually spelled חנוכה pronounced [χanuˈka] in Modern Hebrew, also romanized as Chanukah or Chanuka), also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt of the 2nd century BCE. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.
Jews celebrates New Year on 31th December too but they have their own New Year. Now it is year 5772 at Jewich Calendar.
