Hi Kids!

I would like to say a belated hello to everyone. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, the last week has been disagreeable with my doing anything here. Not the best way to start off I know.

First I would say that so far Australia has met my expectations so far. The people, while suspicious of a newcomer, are agreeable and talkative. The place is not on fire either. I’ve been where everyone is closed mouthed and the government is in shambles. Kudos to those that run things.

Pickle’s was a creation of a friend and my joking around one night. I never envisioned myself the leader of people but, son of a gun, those were some loyal folks. Some of them followed me through three countries. I hated to do it but the time came to pull the plug when people were logging on to 2 click just because they felt it an obligation. The only original member I am aware of being active is Mike Ontry.

When we moved to Canada there was no doubt I took over pretty easily. I was well know from our relations when I was Swiss CP. Just kidding about “taking over” but it did seem like it at times. Some of the best times I’ve had in this game.

I was bored of the BS in the US as were the rest of the Pickle’s. We had a group PM that I used to communicate my thoughts. Finally I said something about moving out. Over half responded in less than a day, they wanted out too. It ain’t easy to move an entire MU, even with only about 25 members.

I won’t say much about my time in Switzerland. There were some good people there but they had some cry babies that called me elite and claimed I was the PTO from the US or some such crap. When they started to troll my MU I drew the line. Next Congress election Pickle’s won ⅓ of the seats because we were the bulk of active citizens. Over the next two days Canada accepted our citizen requests. Yep, we took our 5 gold prizes and split. lol

I started the game in the US. Became the capitalist owner of a large food corporation. Plato killed the econ. I founded Pickle’s Patriots along with Jver1207. We built some Q7 communes and did not want. My dearest party, the United Independents Party, pretty much shoved me into politics. Glad they did, I’d have quit long ago if it weren’t for meeting many interesting people. Finally I got bored of the constant rhetoric.

Well if you cared to read that mess you now should have some idea of where I’ve been and what I’ve done. Now the question remains, why am I here?

Blame FreeGigi. I got a PM one day asking if I wanted to join MEK. I was feeling pretty blah sitting in the US with nothing to do so I accepted. I only knew a few of them but they had worked with me in the past and I feel they are of good report (except Guagature : D). Later we were talking and again feeling blah with little to do. Moving to Australia came up. After thinking on it a few days I took the plunge.

Then the Congress election was upon us. I was asked to fill a slot so I did. Had no plans to get elected but was put toward the top of the list. *Poof* I was in the politics again.

Next thing I know ADP was asking me to run for CP. I was a bit skeptical but always willing to help out I Said OK. I had no plan, didn’t know who to call on for help and time was very short.


About Now You’re Sure I’m Nuts

I did what I tend to do when things get rough, I talk. I had already been messaging with Ilene. As a matter of fact she had contacted me shortly after I arrived to see what I was about. After I made a few comments Rusty also PMed. Taking it all in I find that both are legitimate leaders in their own way. I’m glad that people can still “talk” here. Other places I’ve been they move their mouths but it all sounds like “Wah wah, wahahah wah!” after awhile.

I wanted to start a 3 way conversation but Rusty wasn’t on my friends list (that’s fixed now) so Ilene started it for me. We’ve discussed somethings and have come to the understanding that we want to work together to bring out the best Australia has to offer.


Finally!

I will represent ADP in the current election. I do not have a plan other than to work with Ilene and Rusty. What is going on seems to be working. I would have both in my cabinet, we’d have to work out titles. Of couse others would be included to fill it out. With the date so late I would accept their advice on who’s good at what. Speaking of good at what, I’d take lead on Foreign Affairs while taking advise from those who know who’s who.

I would also work toward reconciliation. There are some frayed nerves out there. I see no reason why this has to continue. It’s not in the countrys best interest to have butthurt on display. I’d much prefer both sides laying it on the table, stating their piece and then tabling the matter.


That Said

I’m not going to say it wouldn’t be a hoot to win CP in my first month here. Realistically I happy just to help out for now. Ilene has offered me the position of MoD which I’ve accepted. I would be happy to help Rusty if he would like.

Sorry for the wall of text. Sorry for the lack of colorful pictures. Sorry for the late hour of releasing this. I was ill prepaired for my sudden entrance into the ring. Perhapse I’ve made a favorable impression, maybe not. My wish is that at the very least I’ve not put anyone off. Time will tell what my motives are, I’m looking forward to impressing you.
