Join the new world

As promised I would like to present my program for the upcoming elections. As I said in my previous article I wont be coming with a long text, as I believe this game is about having fun (in multiple ways) which means not having to read a complete essay 🙂

Home Affairs

This department has been working on updating the various tutorials we have ingame and on the forum (see this tutorial as example). I've already had contact with some of them, and I plan to keep this team together and support them in there work.
I also want to make sure we go back to our weekly update from the government. This as part of a bigger idea to increase the activity in our local news, on which I'll tell more later.

Foreign Affairs

With the current situation in the world where ONE (and specifically our enemy Poland) still has alot of ground in possession, we should become and stay in close contact with our close neighbors. Especially Germany is also fighting hard against Poland and if we can help them with this we definitely should.

Defense

For the military part of the game I think that communication is one of the most important things. I want to work on improving this by making more clear who should be posting what and on which moments. This counts for orders, information about the various parts and about signing up for the army.
I plan to work on making being in our army more fun, specially for the newer people in the game. I've become MU leader some time ago for our 'Krijgsmacht' but apart from following orders there isn't much to do for them. I want to give out supplies to those that are active by rewarding them for fighting in the right battles.
About the Elites, they are a perfect way of increasing our image towards the rest of the eWorld. Coordination is the key for doing this, which can be done by choosing a specific mini-battle to fight in so we can flood the screen with avatars containing our red, white and blue.

Finance

In the last months the government started with making a transparent accounting with our spendings. This is something I strongly approve of and want to keep on doing.
In coordination with our MoD I want to take a look at creating raw-companies for our country. The main advantage of this is that in the longer run we have more money to spend on helping starting players (in general) or giving out supplies (for MoD).

General

Lately the news in eNL has been far from active. I believe that it is always a task of the government to help make this more fun. This can happen in various ways, such as posting help for new players, creating contests and the already mentioned government updates.

In conclusion, I want to direct a question to you (yes you). Unfortunately I don't possess all wisdom, so if you have ideas for our country or our community to make it a more fun place or to help increase it, be sure to contact me. And don't worry that I'll just steal your idea 😉
