Gracias desde El Presidente! [EN/ES]

My fellow compatriots,

I would like to thank all the people who voted for me. I think we, as Cuban people, achieved a big victory today in few ways.

First, the disagreements that exist between the parties were forgotten, at least for a short while, and a person was supported by the majority. This means that even though we have our differences, we can work together as a team and understand each other in the time of need.

Second, a person who can not speak Spanish was elected as President for the first time. I think that is a good sign for the rest of the eWorld that eCuba is a country that accept anybody. It is a sign that our doors are open to everybody who is drive by the desire to make eCuba a better place than it was yesterday!



I sincerely hope that nobody holds a grudge over me for some reason, and that we can all work together, rather than against each other. I am very grateful to all of you who voted for me, and I will make sure to do the best I can to improve our life in this wonderful little Island of ours! Viva Marti, Viva Fidel, Viva CUBA!

Mis compañeros compatriotas,


Me gustaría dar las gracias a todas las personas que votaron por mí. Creo que nosotros, como pueblo cubano, logramos una gran victoria hoy en varias formas.

       En primer lugar, las diferencias que existen entre las partes fueron olvidadas, al menos por un corto tiempo, y una persona fue apoyada de la mayoría. Esto significa que a pesar de que tenemos nuestras diferencias, podemos trabajar juntos como un equipo y entendernos entre sí en el momento de necesidad.
  
      En segundo lugar, una persona que no puede hablar español fue elegido a presidente por primera vez. Creo que es una buena señal para el resto del eMundo que eCuba es un país que acepta a todos. Es una señal de que nuestras puertas están abiertas a todo el mundo que tenga el deseo de hacer de eCuba un lugar mejor que el de ayer!




    Espero sinceramente que nadie guarde rencor sobre mí por cualquier razón, y que todos podemos trabajar juntos, en lugar de uno contra el otro. Estoy muy agradecido a todos los que votaron por mí, y me aseguraré de hacer lo mejor que pueda para mejorar nuestra vida en esta; nuestra maravillosa pequeña isla! Viva Martí, Viva Fidel, Viva CUBA!
