Well, firstly, sorry about the huge wall of text, but after joining this game on 18 October 2008 and playing for near 2 years of what WAS an incredible game concept, I’ve finally had a gutful of the crap its turned into due to the inaction of the Admins towards mass cheaters, and their blatant refusal to make PTOing other countries an permaban offence for the “Illegal use of a game exploit” like every other online game does.

I’m dead set against PTOing of nations. Not just eAustralia, but any nation, eSouth Africa, ePeru and other nations that have had it happen, I don’t think its fair, its certainly not honourable and quite frankly its just plain disgusting and destroys the game, add multi cheating to that and it just makes it worse. The problem is that the Admins continue to allow it to occur and refuse to actually do anything about it, even when those involved have made it public knowledge they are going to do it.

eAustralians and eIndonesians have always had a strange love – hate relationship, there was always respect for each other though even if it went up and down, but that respect is now gone. Most of the eWorld has no respect for eIndonesians anymore, they are seen as nothing more than Cheating PTOers whose word means nothing, not really the best thing for a people in a game, the problem is its portraying an exceptionally bad image of Real Life Indonesians as the Cheating by them becomes more rampant, not just in eAustralia, but eSouth Africa and now eJapan. It wouldn’t surprise me if once eNew Zealand goes live that they will try to do the exact same thing there as well, in fact there are already whispers of them doing it and it will be done in the exact same way as it was done in eAustralia, eSouth Africa and recently attempted eJapan, and what will the Admins do to stop it, the same as usual, Nothing thereby destroying the game for even more people.

War is all part of the game and we all expect that it will occur and we can lose our enations to wars, its honourable and can be fun, providing there is no cheating. When I first started playing this game eAustralia had been completely occupied by eIndonesia during the beta, but there was still respect between us, not anymore and probably never again.

Yes, it is just a game, but the game is based on Real Life Nations and it stands to reason that there is going to be some form of Real Life Nationalism involved by those in their eCountries. Nobody and I mean nobody playing this “game” can tell me they don’t have a Real Life recognisable Nationalism to their eCountry, even the Indonesians have that, they have said time and time again in their blatant and frank PTO messages to eAustralians while they have PTOed us over the last 5 months that their reasons are for exactly these reasons and think nothing of cheating so they can destroy another eCountry then get upset when those of that eNation started with Nationalist comments in reply.

Not being able to take eAustralia honourably in a fun and enjoyable way by battle, they resorted to the lowest form of lowlife activity and decided to cheat using multi accounts and PTOed us, then proceeded to steal AUD, Gold, destroy our economy, and ensure that we had no MPPs to stop any honourable defence of our nation and only then instigated the eIndonesian government into attacking and taking our eCountry knowing we couldn’t beat them no matter what, all for their own selfish gain and yes, Real Life nationalism of Indonesia.

“That’s not true” I hear you saying to yourself, but it is true. Name one RL Indonesian that hasn’t jumped on the bandwagon and joined the AnD Indonesian PTOers or assisted them from eIndonesia? More so, show me 10 RL Indonesians that have offered to assist and defend eAustralia from the AnD Indonesian PTOers and that has publicly stood up and denounced their actions as dishonourable and disgusting and demanded they stop because of the shame, dishonour and loss of face it brings on not just eIndonesia but Real Life Indonesia as well? You can’t, nobody can, because they are joined the AnD or kept silent for “Real Life Nationalistic” reasons.

Quite frankly I’ve just had enough of the crap, the in-action by the Admins and their refusal to do anything about the PTO issues, Cheating and Multi problems with-in the game in any eCountry, but especially my own. I’ve spent countless hours along with other members of the eAustralian community putting major effort into our eNation to watch it all go down the toilet because of Cheaters and their PTOing and the inaction of the Admins to do something official about it.

I’ve spent hard earned cash on this game over the long period I’ve been playing it because I’ve enjoyed the game and especially the concept and the sense of community it’s created because it would help develop the game to its maximum potential, making it one of the best online game concepts ever. I’ve seen V1, I’ve seen the mess that was V2 and the current system is worse than V1 ever was, but the issue of Cheating, multis and PTOing has completely destroyed the game.

The Admins, in my opinion have a legal and moral responsibility with the game being based on Real Life Nations to ensure that Real Life hatreds and contempt does not occur, something quite frankly they are failing miserably at. Their inaction in regards to PTOing of nations, especially long term ones, is causing those frustrations and hatreds to move into Real Life because of the reasons I’ve mentioned earlier. If this were a complete fantasy realm it might be different but its not. The game is designed and structured specifically on the real world, which is part of its unique charm and they must take responsibility for their “Inaction” in relation to this issue and how its affecting Real Life nationalist views, at the very least in relation to the “exploitation of a game mechanic”.

The game is based on communities, and each and every eNation is encouraged to develop that eNational Community and its happening, but that in itself is leading further into Real Life hatreds, distrust and disgust of those nationals that are PTOing other eNations over the long term. With real life tensions growing in the Real world every day, to which one only needs to look into the media each day to see what’s happening in countries around the world in regard to cultural differences and discrimination, and other issues that are arising politically, this game and the Admins inattention is only fuelling those hatreds and dislikes of different Cultures instead of making a community that works to alleviate those problems and allow it to become a catalyst for people to develop friendships and bonds of at least respect for each other around the world that would definitely extend into Real Life because of the community based nature of the game.

The so-called implementation of new countries is all well and good but quite frankly they are all effectively doomed to political destruction by another nation PTOing them anyway because the Admins continue to allow it to be seen as “legal” and “within the game rules” when it shouldn’t be. I’ve been asked to help eNew Zealand set themselves up and get ready for the poor country to face the full onslaught of an Indo PTO of them as soon as they are created. A US faction has already shown interest in helping and has in fact actually approached some of the major RL New Zealanders to discuss how they can help, the eIndo faction however hasn’t, so I’m finished with this game, until the Admins do something about this crap.

eAustralians can still contact me on the eAustralian Forums and I’ll be helping the eNew Zealanders as best I can to get their own forums and community and system of government up and running before it to is destroyed in game by the Cheating PTOers.

I’d like to finish by saying to all those that I have known during the resistance years in eAustralia when I started and the other friends I have made over the time I’ve been playing, thank you for the wonderful time you have given me, the sense of friendship and yes at times stress and frustration, but also the enjoyment I have had being here, this extends to other eNations and eWorld people I’ve had the pleasure and joy of meeting and talking to, including most of the now long gone Old Indonesian Guard, it was fun in the early days and I had a ball playing with you as Honourable eIndonesians.

To the AnD and other eIndos and PTOers and eHungarians, and the inevitable Trolls that will crawl out of the woodwork after this.

I don’t expect the Admins to read this or even take anything I’ve said on board, it’s a pity, but it’s become the nature of the Admins to ignore everything they can and they hate criticism. As somebody said to me earlier today: “The admins don't realize that the main problem isn't the war module, it is Multies, political module and just the erep staff in general that need improving first.” Remember Admins, this is another player leaving your game, and an old one at that.
