I don`t find this pic disturbing and disgusting at all. We have freedom of speech and our right to express ourselves, or maybe don't have it as each and every word from us is scrutinized and we get sanctioned. We are discriminated by the Administrators of eRepublik.

LGBT are discriminated by people who think & say loudly that they shoudln't get the same rights that other citizens due to their sexual orientation... People who share offensant absurdities and are punished for it aren't discriminated. Maybe the difference is tiny for your PoV but there is a difference 😉

Chihiroh, humor can be an easy "shield" for expressing the worst opinions. Being smart is also being able to understand when humor is just a "tool" to express the worst. So in this case, yes, I understood the Asterix reference, but the idea behind it is just a shame. Humor canno't be some kind of "joker" to say whatever.

I do not think humor is a good excuse. It might be humorous for some but offensive to others. You do not have the right to mask bigotry and dismiss it as humor.

While I definitely do support LGBT and their rights I do think it is not a reason to censor stuff. If you find this offensive it is because you chose to interpret it offensively, that shouldn't be a reason condemn humor. My brother isn't straight and actually found this picture funny, and definitely supports the fact that we should make jokes about gays too, as much as we laugh about other people.

As Director 9 state, this is not a joke. If you understand the political meaning and context of this, it is not as innocent as it looks. In the end this is not aimed as a joke and it is a clear political statement of the ultra conservative policies in Croatia today. This is extreme right wing propaganda and nothing more.

Chihiroh, your brother should know that still nowadays, and not so far away, "homos" are beaten, sometimes to death, by young people raised with this kind of humor. I don't care about old men that already have their mind set, but you really should not under-judged the power of these "humoristic" pictures on the long run for some teenagers.

We know Jeiry, but the blame is not on the humor but how those people use it. They aren't taught this humor as mere humor but as plain truth. Marko, like he said, clearly didn't use nor wanted to use this picture in the way you described.
