In a few days we will see some kind of financial reports. Going by the last one it probably would be some work of fiction.

In my view ireland has for many and many months simply misunderstood the ECONOMic game from a government perspective:

In a normal government money is collected from every day transactions and taxes to then be distributed among various departments for the supposed welfare and benefit of the people. For example to educate your children and treat you in state run hospitals when your sick. Or build and maintain the road that you travel on. The leaking watering can that rains their own money back on the people. The money collective that do more than a citizen can do with his own money for example building the bridge where you will one day retire as a beggar when you don't make it.


You see the problem I have with our government economics is that the water that we all throw in that same watering can never make it back to the heads of all citizens. I would say it doesn't even have a potential 30% benefit to our people. Yes certainly the few mpp's safe the occasional Q5 Moving ticket.

If one study the damage done by our citizens why am I constantly now third. Strength as determining factor has disappeared. And either some players cant be bothered with fighting or second simply do not have enough WEPS to fight.

In either case they might not feel motivated to fight anymore due to lack of supplies. Most likely not but there is a sincere apathy among too many people.

I feel really that in our example of the watering can. Many people have no more interest in what government does simply because it does not impact them at all.

Where is our top 10 players in damage. Besides nogin, biedny and nerusia they are very prominent in their absence from every kind of leaderboard. Not even DC can manage a l* d* when he tries to mount the leaderboard.

the second thing I see is that our competition inwards destroys our damage outwards. Mu commanders would rather lie than admit their MU need supplies.

So when one of us say there should be a MOD budget so that we can supply all of our soldiers people will repeat the old stock standard arguments we dont give supplies or we dont need supplies etc etc.

Which makes no sense at all every million damage you make eats a little bit of your weapons stockpile. So the smaller your stockpile the less damage you make.
Supplies = damage.

SO imo the MOD department misses the point completely.

Modern warfare in eRepublik requires:
1. well supplied soldiers with enough health and weps .
2. an understanding of the game div 1 & 2 makes 3 out of a possible 11 points in a battle. So our new emphasis on DIV 1 & 2 mu's is simply stupid. I knew zero mot fighters in the west that maintained their low levels after 7 or 8 years. So the argument we are building from the bottom upwards is totally illogical WITH THE NEW PACK THAT KEEPS THEM LOW.

In fact we need plenty of Division 4 players. We need 10 top players that scores more THAN 700 million in a week then we are on par with our actual strength. At the moment we are boxing below our real strength,

But where are they? All I see is more and more players waning.

3. A coordinated Ireland military. Seanan was totally wrong. The Irish army had been waning under his command and was no longer contributing all the damage. Sadly today it has fallen behind in the race. So clinging like a zombie to the idea of one blob of a army that scores most of the damage must be let go off. How stupid can you remain?

4. CO's 10000 CO at 10 iep per 1 million damage equates to a 1000 million damage. And yes they can put up equal or better CO's but we simply do not have the damage in division 4 to win battles without CO's.

5. Honesty! Our biggest fail in Ireland is our pathological lie'ing in government. We simply do not tell the truth we tell the lies that we perceive makes us win arguments. " We dont supply our armies" but then later but if anyone ask we will always supply a brother /facepalm. So which is it?" We dont want or get supplies from government(but then you score 30 million damage). We dont need money from CO's.

All in all government must work out a budget for all departments.

Where is the congress discussions about the budget for a particular department. thE Irish get angry if people call THEM leprechauns but like leprechauns they must gather a high shining pile of gold that has no use to anyone in their lifetimes. Besides Don Croata who can blow 600 000 in one term to install and reinstall Dictators. But dare anyone like say a Minister of Defense ask for a running budget to supply troops and he will be looking at 100 iep and 0,9 gold for a full month.

Mpp's is important but we have been mostly getting funding from foreign goverments. So please spot the mistake when they simply multiply number of mpp's with a certain amount.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE MONEY?

The fact that multiple thief's have pocketed amounts up to 4 million and then 1 million etc etc just proofs one point. The irish MOF gathers money but never give a thought or debate "FOR WHAT IS THE MONEY THEN LADDIE?" Because if they steal 4 million it automatically means your a effin lunatic eejit. Because it means for months and months you gathered money but you never once discussed for what is the money. A financial report without an intelligent budget to accompany it is just kids that do not understand what a government is. Yes government can only do infinite things but without money allocated it does not do anything.

Government can
1. Help citizens with TG upgrades.
2. Supply food to citizens
3. Supply weps to citizens
4. COLLECTIVE - Put up CO's
5. COLLECTIVE - Put up Mpp's
6. Supply money for citizen competitions.
7. Safe money

And good government would fit the money it gets into each item. lets take it we get 210 000 a month divided by 7 would mean we could spend 30000 on each item and safe 30000. Imo a good government would give equal weight to each item.

For years we cheered the massive funds we gathered with item 7. Wowie Appleman is such a genuis Sweet Drinker is such a genuis Louman is sich a genuis. Wow only IA supplied rest used for mpp'S WOWIE. Oh crap someone stole our money.

Stealing money is sanctioned by eRepublik yet the Irish never learned. Its like someone give them 3 pieces of a puzzle the one said make money the second one said spend money and the third said safe money. Now like prudent little economics majors we just threw away puzzle piece 2. And then people like sawc would come around and they would puzzle piece 1 steal the money puzzle piece 2 spend the money.

Which in effect means the only people that ever really profited from the good work of the MOF's was the thieves. And yet we still continue forever staring us blind into the lies of the latest MOF: "Only the IA follow directives so only the IA should receive supplies to which the game answered EEJIT everyone receives TP medals for fighting for their country so you do not need a directive they will still fight for your battles". All lies all spewed out during successive terms over years and years. In the end the net worth of their lies was just fat loot for some unscrupulous player.

Other problems I had with DC's last financial report was that it didnt pertinently show important data. Net profit in a month would have been great. Money applied to more than MPp's and savings would have been greater. Yet it failed as when there was a call for a budget we were referred to the daily work tax which according to his own admittance didnt even contribute 10% of our total income. In short what Tomislav did was when fans asked say a football club to sign a big player he referred them to his money made from his hotdog sales and not the lucrative tv deals and ticket money. Tomi pulled out a donkey and told DC to take the race horses to the back of the stalls for a month so that we can safe more so that I guess there is enough money for DC to splurge into a failed AS or 2 .

ireland fails because ireland simply have no concern for its everyday citizens and despite what DC says any player fighting for Ireland despite years of no funding cant be bad in my book.
