Join the new world

Greetings Ireland,

Today I have a question for all of you: what's better than an election with two candidates? A three-way election, of course. That's why I would like to inform you that I´m running for Country President this month.

Jokes aside, why this month? As you may already now, we are getting close to eRepublik 14th anniversary and if admins create an event similar to the past ones, we will have a lot of energy to burn, much more than in usual weeks. Therefore, keeping our tws going as fast as possible should be one of our priorities. And who's better for that than someone who has been the Minister of Defence the last couple of months? Especially when my disastrous sleep schedule should help make the ping-pong with Taiwan quite faster than it currently is.

In addition to coordinating training wars (and opening new ones if needed), I´ll keep running the air program. I think it's the most important project nowadays in Ireland and we should keep investing in our pilots. Battle orders and changes about them will mostly be published in the Country feed.

When it comes to foreign affairs, we will keep working with those who have been friendlier with us, mainly Canada, Finland and Taiwan. Unless the Dáil Éireann thinks otherwise, we will keep the Mutual Protection Pact with Brazil, whose help has been quite important for months.

I don´t think our treasury will change much during the next month. As I told earlier, we will keep our investment in the air program and, apart from a food giveaway or two, some extra supplies may be considered depending on the anniversary event. However, I have no more special expenses in mind. In conclusion, we will probably have a little deficit like this month, but nothing to worry about.

As always, transparency is one of my main promises, so we will publish at least 2 biweekly reports where I'll explain to you all what we have been doing since the previous one: training wars, foreign affairs, economy, interesting articles and, if everything goes as planned, some food supplies to help our citizens.

Finally, I´ve been told that Moo won't be able to keep doing his great work as MoEd next month, but if someone has any kind of contest in mind, feel free to message me so we can work on its finantiation.



Team

No surprises here. As always, I will include in my cabinet some of the most respected citizens of eIreland like Don, Slua, Armanych and Biedny. Despite being “rivals” in this elections, Releasethe Kraken will be there in case I'm elected and I would like to publically invite Seth too. Since you have been really vocal in your platform about making our country more active when it comes to contests and “community activities”, I think you would be a really good addition to my team.
