Fed 4 Life

Day 1,117, 16:33 Published in USA USA by Kara Zor El

Greetings, my fellow eReppers. It has been 11 months since my last article. I guess I haven’t had much to say for awhile. Now, I do. For those of you can remember that far back, if you were around and subscribing, I would often run a contest at the end of my articles. This article will keep with that tradition. My contests only require that you be the first to correctly answer a question. No entry fees are required. I do ask that you would be so kind as to sub my paper for the opportunity to win cool prizes. Now, let’s get to the reason I’ve overcome my writer’s block and have chosen to bless you with my sweet words. Two words. "Federalist Party"

Path to Federalism

I began my eRep journey on Day 551. I took advantage of the Meals on Wheels and the Mentor program. My mentor was Bill Brasky. Some of you may remember him. I did not know at the time that he was PP of the Feds. He did his job, but never pitched the Feds. Soon after, I met another Fed named Wingfield. We got along swimmingly, so I turned to him for advice. I never really got to know Bill or have further contact. I later discovered that his nick was taken from a character from an SNL skit. I found it amusing when I watched it.

Wingfield discussed the Feds with me, but when Level 7 came around, I chose the Conservatives. I liked the Feds I knew, but they weren’t top 5. I consider my politics to be Conservative, so the name fit also. There, I met Ajay Bruno. I’m glad I was here to witness his antics, rather than to hear about him secondhand. I bought a newspaper to begin doing interviews and contests to build up subs. One of my subscribers turned out to be citizenslave, eventually to become a very popular, 4 consecutive term, PP of the Party. He was interested in buying space in my articles to advertise his black market goods. This arrangement worked out well and we became friends. He was a Fed and we discussed his Party. There ended up being 2 reasons why I left the Conservatives and gave my allegiance to the Feds. Read on.

I was leaning heavily towards joining the Fed ranks mostly from the influence of citizenslave. He was the only person who ever showed me that the game could be so much more when you access the IRC. He also showed me the opportunities available to me with the Feds that the Conservatives did not. They made no effort to involve me in the party. As great as his influence was on me, I did not leave my party so soon. It took Ajay Bruno to send me running to the Feds to never look back. I found out about him using multis to tamper with our PP election. I found his behavior unacceptable, so I left. I defriended him and he didn’t like me too much after that.

Fed 4 Life

By day 594, I was a Federalist. I know this because I checked my newspaper for those indications. I suppose a Fed logo stating I was a Fed is good indication of that. This was right, smack dab in the middle of fingerguns’ reign as PP. One of the first things I got involved with is being the Director of the Media Department. While there, I ran a successful fund raising effort for the Party through our Media. I later went back to the Media Department to fill a role as Raffle Coordinator.

I took advantage of 2 opportunities to be Vice Party President under Greene 12’s leadership. I knew him from applying to the MI. I was rejected because of a questionable friends list. This led to my discovery of the Party’s militia. Easy Company gave me an opportunity be more involved with the battles. I enjoyed free guns for battles and a sense of camaraderie. While in EZC, I was provided a commune job and received free food for each day of work. One thing led to another and I soon became a Junior Quartermaster. Now, I was the one supplying the weapons and food. After that, I became the QM and continued my role as food distributor for some time after I resigned my post as QM. It was in EZC that I met my love, MitchRapp. He was my one and only. :~(

The last thing I did before taking some time off was to be the Recruitment Director. I became inactive after that. Thinking back, I wish I had taken the opportunity to work for the FOP when citizenslave was in charge of it. He asked me many times, but I wasn’t interested in mass mailing. It would have been good prep for Recruiting Director, but it would have brought me down a different path. The next part of my journey is yet to be determined.

Final Word

I tell you all this to show the many possibilities you will have when you join the Federalist Party. This game can take you many different directions. You can focus on politics, military, business, and media. The Feds can help you grow in all these areas and develop the leadership skills necessary to be a successful President, congressman, businessman, soldier, or mogul. We have a very active IRC channel (#fedpartychat) where you can find like-minded individuals who are more than happy to help you along the way.

The Federalists are a top 5 party. We have had 6 members who have become eUS President. We have also given our support to many non-Feds who have been elected, as well. We represent ourselves well in congress. We also run a well organized blocker and mobile voting program. This helps to maintain integrity in various elections. Our militia is well known and helps those in need of our military prowess. With the businesses and Orgs we own, we are quite self-sustaining, if need be. I can’t say enough good things about my Party. The best thing of all is that Kara Beth is in this Party. You should get to know her. I heard she’s a real hoot.

Contest

Ok! This one is going to be a toughie. I have a mess load of MT’s I bought for some stupid mission. I am offering 5 of them and a rifle to the winner. All you have to do is look at my past present, and future shouts. You will find that, many times, a 3 digit number is posted. Be the first to determine what that number represents. Post your guesses in the comments. The number will change daily, but the answer remains the same. I will offer a clue after awhile if no one catches on.

New Contest

Look at the Seinfeld picture below. Be the person to submit the most references to the show based on the images from the pic. Just mention the image and what episode it comes from. This link will help you along your way. The winner will receive 2 tanks (1 use). Larger version of picture.
