Today I sat down with Presidential Candidate Jacobi, and asked him his plans on what he will do upon winning the election.

Big day, isn't it?
There's no denying it!

It’s looking like you will be elected President of Canada for a 5th time, how does it feel?
Well, its a fairly good feeling....its something that I've spent the better half of the last month working towards, and to see the returns its very humbling.
You don't often, in your life, get to have 1000 people vote in an election where you are a candidate, much less win.

What can you do now that you didn't do in his previous 4 months?
The thing that I'm most excited about is obviously the prospect of preparing for version 2.
I expect that as we go into January we will get a lot more information about what we should be expecting. Laying the groundwork now, being a part of something that's going to be incredibly exciting.
I'm really looking forward to that

Where do you stand on France/ Spain war?
As long as Spain commits to returning French territory within a reasonable time frame I think this is an excellent way to induce activity. When you have something real on the line, not just a training war, it inspires and motivates.
If the war turns, you better believe Canada will be there by Spain's side...there are plenty of Canadians just waiting to return favors for what Spain did for us in WW3.

What is the future of Brolliance?
I actually want to see if I can get the entirety of Congress to sign the Brolliance treaty....its just such a special relationship and would send such a strong signal, that doing it would really show our commitment to them.

What are your plans for eUK? Will we attack?
Jewitt appears headed towards victory in the United States, so I'll certainly be consulting with him starting tomorrow. He's made clear his desire to attack and I've made clear my desire to support the US in whichever decision they make in consultation with EDEN.
We are not going to sit on the sidelines, even if we don't do the attack button pressing ourselves.

What should our relations with Phoenix be?
Canada as a policy opposes imperialism. Several members of Phoenix actively participate in imperialism. Think of it the same way we thought of the USSR during the cold war. I'm open to discussions, but that doesn't mean I don't completely abhor the way they operate.

How will the continuing high value of CAD help the surplus in our markets?
With a high CAD the government has the purchasing power to do what it should do to regulate the economy. Now, in regards to any surplus, TaiwanPanda the Minister of Finance will make recommendations every week to congress. Some of those recommendations may be to authorize MoI companies to purchase any glut on the market.
We want to act, in any way that involves the government in the economy, in an open, clear process that is completely above the board

How will you fund the CAF?
A combination of taxation and printing, I think again people don't quite realize that its a stretch for the CAF to spend the entirety of the budget it was allocated. The budget for this month, for example, was larger than what we spent during the entirety of WW3.
It’s not sustainable and its not realistic. And when we play with numbers and don't take them seriously, people will lose faith in the government's competence.
The budget that will be presented under this administration will be a budget set out by the CAF itself, realistic funding for attainable goals.


Any final thoughts you would like to end on?
We've got an interesting month ahead of us, domestic tranquility and international war.
