Well, now a millionaire came round today
And started givin' dollars away
While everyone was grabbin' it where was I?
I was home nappin'!
So everybody got some but me.

I mean Shorty and Bill, Gimpy and Lil,
Everybody but me.

So I said, I don't mind bein' poor,
'Cause I have a woman whose heart is so pure;
And she is innocent and mild as a newborn child,
When I told all my friends they said "Sure!"
'Cause it seems:

Well now that's the way my world keeps goin' round,
But I keep smilin' even though I'm down;
Whoever would have suspected,
That sweet thing was infected,
And there's a big epidemic in this town.
