Emerick is as Emerick does

Last night, I gained a newfound respect for the "Great One". Those of you who have read my articles and comments know that I adore Emerick for various reasons. But last night confirmed my suspicions that Emerick is more than just a jokester. The reasons for his popularity and influence were in full display in the IRC Fed channel last night. I speak of the debate that arose between Emerick and Hoss after our banned President ended his debate with Hoss.

What I witnessed was a fine display of debating skills by the "Great One". His knowledge of the game and its intricacies were unmatched by his opponent. I daresay that he won this debate hands down. I expect this conclusion not to be shared my many who were also present. To you I say, get your own paper and write about it.

One example of Hoss's lack of communication skills, is his inability to disseminate information. How many times did he ask Emerick the same question? Enough to show his ignorance, I tell you. Each time Emerick answered his question satisfactorily, Hoss would claim he was avoiding the question and would ask again. This went on ad nauseum until both finally agreed to move on. Hoss just fails to recognize that Emerick's responses, while terse at times, were sufficient to those with basic understanding of the game. I had no trouble whatsoever understanding the various points that Emerick was trying to make. With Emerick being around since day 86, I think it's time for Hoss to respect his elders and bow to his intellectual superior.

I noticed that Emerick is running for President again. I couldn't be happier. I truly believe that he is what our country needs at this very time. His knowledge of the issues is vast. It seems as though you can approach him about any subject and he can respond with relevant facts and opinions. We must recognize that knowledge alone is not sufficient. It is with wisdom that knowledge can be correctly applied. I believe our current leaders lack this wisdom to use whatever knowledge they do have. Emerick does not have such hangups.
Say what you will about his moments of immaturity, but when it's time to come to the table, he's all business. I believe he will represent our country admirably and will bring us from the brink of mediocrity.
