In today's article, you will read something about the eraly history of Switzerland, about party election results, Swiss Government reports and an interview with the Swiss CP.

History Section: Early Swiss History

At the beginning of its history, Switzerland was a quiet country, with a meagre population that had little impact on the world. Little is known about its earliest history because of the lack of interest from its surrounding nations. The Swiss National Gold reserve however was one of the largest in the world for some time relative to the size of its industry and population, this eventually led to many people coming to take the young country forward in a new direction, at the time a small band of Canadians, after suffering the horrors of the USA-Canada War moved here for a new life, gaining the Presidency against massive odds, with much foreign competition. In its early stages the Swiss economy was held afloat by a few companies, that themselves where sustained by the government and its vast wealth, once the last administration came into place, the Fonti Presidency, more emphasis was put on expanding businesses, this was extremely successful as many companies were established and ran without the need for government support. This was helped by a boom in population in its last few weeks of existence, mainly from the Canadians who came to the nation, who were extremely skilled workers, there was however much more immigration from many nations, the best known ones where from Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands. Being a small nation, Switzerland had no official armed forces. If war came to the nation as it did, the entire population was expected to help in the fight. However during the war, International Forces, from the UK, Norway and Sweden made up the bulk of the Swiss Army, which also included many mercenaries.

News Section: Party President Elections

Since the PTO group from Romania infiltrated the country, Switzerland was fighting for control of its political parties. When several parties were lost few months ago, it was decided to organize each elections to avoid wasting votes and sending them to parties where the non-PTO candidate was losing.

After the results were checked by the admin, 8 multi-votes were removed and only one party was lost by 6 votes. The results are the following:

Meet Swiss Section: chukcha, current CP of Switzerland

You were CP two times in the past. What forced you to run again? How does your position in CoT affect your political involvement in Switzerland?

I was CP of Bulgaria, during May 2010, but after that I left the game for a while cuz I had some health issues. During December 2012 I was CP of Switzerland with having a so so term. I wanted to run again, cause Switzerland is in a tough situation and I think I am the right person for that time. My position in CoT helps me a lot when it comes to something that I need for Switzerland, cause I know how to find the right person for the right thing. 🙂
Can you explain the tough situation Switzerland is currently in?

We're currently facing two PTO groups. Hungarian - coming from Tyxy and Romanian - comin from Cronoss. The bad thing is that they are now united against us. Before my term, I can say that there was kind of no government transperancy about anything, many people were "blind" about what is going on. Ambassadors were gone and Swiss National Army was only a expense that was not effective, not at all!

How much damage can the two groups make united?

Thats hard to predict, cause they are mainly relying on multies.

Do you have any plans to make another official Swiss MU like the Swiss National Army was or something similar? How much military organization can Switzerland reach anyway?

I have announced my intentions to make a new organization, similiar to SNA in my last presidential adress. The military organization in Switzerland can go as far as we ourselves determine.

Since you were in CoT HQ many times and now you are Bank Governor, how much military cooperation can CoT make with Asgard? How do you see CoT-Asgard relation in the future? How much can Switzerland be involved in the cooperation with Asgard?

There already is a channel for military cooperation between CoT and Asgard called #CoTgard, but there are just a few people there. CoT-Asgard relations can only improve, but the two sides need to insist more for that to happen. Switzerland is open cooperation with any countries that feel them friendly with our nation.

Any personal message to the citizens of Norway?

Switzerland is looking for further cooperatation with Norway. I think due to the fact we're two small countries we have a lot in common and we can help eachother.
