Greeting to all citizen of our glorious empire as you all probably know the moment we've all been waiting for since the dissolution of the TWO and CoT alliances is that the "new" military/political alliances have been made.
The spiritual xD successor of the former alliance TWO is now called Asteria and it currently has 6 members: eArgentina, eGreece, eHungary, eRomania, eSerbia and eSlovenia.
These are the core ( founding ) countries and this alliance is still in making so we can expect more countries to join the Alliance in the next period ( few day/weeks), but there are already possible member candidates countries and some of them are: ePortugal, eColombia, eMontenegro, eThailand, eVenezuela, eUruguay and eTaiwan. Of course this doesn't mean that all listed states will join the alliance, but it is very possible that they will join it sooner or later at least some of them.
Now the second alliance...don't know could I call it also the spiritual successor of the former CoT alliance, but it is certain that it will have many of the same country members and goals as former CoT alliance. The new alliance is called Sirius and it currently has 6 members: eSpain, eUSA, eUnited Kingdom, ePoland, eTurkey and eCroatia.

Of course, and this alliance is still in the making so we can expect more new members in the near future.
Period of peace is finally over and now we can expect fierce battles around the eworld. The war has already begun, and the first victim is ePoland, which is already a few days under heavy military strikes, many RW's have been started and won against ePoland ( it was a good chance to get those freedom fighter medals, at least for those who have money and resources xD ) and is facing a huge loss of conquered territories.
So I wanted to hear the opinions of the ordinary people...us....what do you think about this situation? Now the main question is where is eJapan in all of this and where is our intrest in all of this??? Considering the possibility that eTaiwan joins the Asteria and eUSA is in Sirius that will be our opportunity to liberate at least some of our territories. Which allaince will eJapan join???

Your question should firstly be posed to our MoFA/CP..the public at least should know the general direction of our government's efforts.
We have two choices..and personally I think Asteria is the less wrong one.
I intentionally didn't ask the government official anything, who knows maybe they're doing something about it right now and it's top secret.....miracles are possible xD So that's why I wanted to know the opinion of the people, what people thinks it's best choice for now.
Well we have 3 choices, the third is neutrality and of course it's just a theoretical choice, we are not eChina xD and as for me....I still don't know, waiting to see what will eTaiwan do xD
As the article describes we are in a difficult position right now. I guarantee you that the citizens will be informed of any concrete developments as they take place.
Frankly, last time i was around, the homeland was sold off for profit.. guess why i was labeled as MIA or AWOL or whatever.. in any case.. japan needs to start standing up for itself.
We are not strong enough to do so, both political and military, so we have to choose wisely. Wrong choice and we will probably be occupied for months, so that's why we need strong alliance and allies, one that will allow us to participate in it and be treated as equals, not just as a number.....like we were in CoT.
We will never be in a strong alliance and treated as an equal, that is a fact. We can be in an alliance of smaller non-important nations and be equals sure.. but not a world alliance.
Oh well, ofc, exactly the same argument they were saying last time. It is always the same: "we are too small and if we try to do anything they will come and conquer us, at least this way we get paid". Well, maybe we got paid but we had nothing, and we still have nothing. Japan can never grow or become anything bigger unless we start taking chances. They can't take away our citizenship, our spirit, our devotion, they already have our homeland.. so what's the issue here?
Of course we can't be equal as the big players in any world alliance, because we lack military power and that is all that counts here, but that doesn't mean that we can't be respected by the alliance and that our voice can't be heard and accepted, we must give are best and try hard to change that, our goal should be, to be in a golden middle in a alliance not just a number and sometimes scapegoat of alliance.
I agree, we need to work at building long term collaborative relationships with any alliance we decide to go with, or even just with other nations irrespective of the alliance. It is only through such efforts that we can get our 5 min to speak up and be respected by other, powerful nations.
If I was to look at the statistics of any war, when the balance between military powers is equal, the war persists in a win-some-lose-some manner, yet among these high powered military houses, it will be that one little country that can offset the balance in favour of one or the other.
But the main problem in eJapan is that people fight their own battles and rarely even try to converge onto the battlefield in a efficiently organised manner. This we need to work at if we are to be respected in the global community.
I agree, we can change the situation in our advantage but only if we work hard, together unite as one, with one common goal, a stronger, respected eJapan in alliance and eworld. If you look at the amount of our country damage we are in the top 40 ( of 70 countries, we are in the golden middle zone xD ), and if we all concentrate that damage in one direction we can be a useful ally.
First of all, unification with Korea will give us a stronger diplomatic and military position than we would have otherwise had. We must take the initiative, though, and reach out to possible allies. Asteria seems a possible alternative, as long as we do not end up surrounded by enemies -- if Russia and China are lost to us as possible allies, it might not be worth it. First priority has to be the long term building of a coalition, which means setting aside immediate gains. We must hold the home islands and the South Korean homeland, not just reclaim them.
There were talks about how we need to strengthen our ties with eSK but without no visible results so far, I just saw in the CP article that our government is currently working on it, hopefully we'll finally make some visible progress in this field and together with eKorea seek the best solution to our problems. As for China and Russia, just read the comment of the Nobunaga Sensei he explained everything, it will be difficult for us.

if you take a look, you will see that Asteria is "more natural" choice for us.
we can't rely on USA at all. but some of members in Asteria can hold ROC. the problem is that we are weaker then RoC so we must to understand our real place in this worldand to be ready to make compromises.
I think we are all pretty much aware of that fact, that will we have to be ready to make compromises if we want to join any alliance, but I just hope so that that we don't allow some personal interest/affections/feelings xD don't become a problem, we should look from which alliance we can get the most, not in which alliance we would personaly like to be in more.
Nanashi, in this moment, RoC is closer to Asteria then to Serius. USA is in Sirius.
So, as you already said bellow, we will or:
1) if RoC and USA join different alliances, we can try to join other alliance and free some of our regions. USA is already in Serius, so...
2) if RoC and USA join same alliance, then believe me, we will be automatically in second alliance and almost without any chance to free...
But, we should choose fast and wisely: no one will take eJapan if we will try to negotiate too long. They will just give up from us.

Our main problems are eRoc and eUSA. If they decide to go in separate alliances then its possible that we will not be able to have all original regions under our control. China and USA have NAP in which they say that countries will help eachother in stopping smaller countries to have their freedom .Russia was and probably still is a vasal of Murica. So enemies all around us 🙁 We can have an allternative to ask one member of our future alliance to "rent " us one region and give us secure congress by allowing AS on them.Our part of a deal might be a organisation of RW in regions occupied by member of other alliance
Well, looking at the current situation of our RW in Tohoku we will win and sent Americans swimming the ocean to get back home xD Now the question is.....does that mean one problem less to worry about, or USA still intends to take back those lost regions?
As long as usa can compasate their lost food bonus in canada we are safe.but we will se in future days are RoC is going to attack us in tohoku and hokkaido.
