Diplomacy Is Key

Helo, good people,
And a belated welcome to a new term for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs!
Our president has done a wonderful job in informing the public about Norway's dealings on the foreign front, so today I would like to concentrate on my main goal for this term:
REVAMPING THE NORWEGIAN DIPLOMATIC CORPS!!!
The Diplomatic Corps has long been a hatchery for less known players coming into the complicated world of foreign policy. It also traditionally helps (somewhat) in developing our ambassadors' personal connections in their assigned countries. Hopefully all of this serves for the good of Norway, but it always serves to enhance our ambassadors' game experience and it adds a new dimension to their entertainment while in eRepublik.
We, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are well aware that it is summer and a lot of you guys reading this are (hopefully) somewhere on a beach or in a mountain cabin sipping on your margaritas. This term we will strive to offer you plenty of options for advancement and a great learning experience for the ones who decide to offer us some of your vacation time.
We have prepared plenty of challenges and ways to reward your efforts this term!
With all this being said,
THE DIPLOMATIC CORPS OF NORWAY IS LOOKING FOR NEW AMBASSADORS STARTING IMMEDIATELY!!!
We would absolutely love to see dedicated players of any rank and citizenship join us!
We will give advantage to people interested in representing Norway in the following countries: Canada, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Belarus, Germany.
Weekly ambassadorial challenges will be set starting later this week and I have prepared some great prizes for the active participants!
English is a must!
Proficiency in the native language of your assigned country is a tremendous advantage!
Our current ambassadors, continuing their great work this month are:
babk (also vMoFA) - in Iran, Turkey and South Africa
ivan europe (also a member of Asgard HQ) - in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
Jasper Zuidema - in the Netherlands, Belgium and France

Even if you are a good fighter, some foreign relation would make you better inside and outside of the battle ground.
Would recomend people to join this. If you are low on diplomats i can join.

Is it a mistake that you mentioned Belarus?
No mistake! I have found that Belarusian players and MUs have long been friendly towards us Norwegians, no matter which side on the battlefield we're currently on. I see no reason to neglect relations with a good nation solely based on the fact that you guys now gravitate more towards TWO. You never know what the situation is going to be a month or a year from now and I need to have people in place ready for everything.
