Day 1,336 - Two Political Announcements for eAustralia

Day 1,336, 03:39 Published in Australia Australia by Mr Crumpets

Good Evening eAustralia,

May I first congratulate CallumH123 on his election as Party President of the Green and Gold Party (GGP).

The first 48 hours of he's term have been positive so far as he tries to ramp up activity in the GGP forums at community.auserepublik.com

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

I'll be officially aiming to make a return to the eAustralian Senate.

At this stage, I'll be making a run in the state of Queensland for the Green and Gold Party.

Unlike other candidates, I will NOT be making a big policy statement on things like Taxes, Foreign Affairs, Military, etc...

What I will promise you is someone who will make a considered decision and be active in the senate.

In previous occasions I've been elected (as CrowdedHouse or GooseStep) I've been vocal and sometimes that has made me far from popular.

HOWEVER, you can rest easy that I have never made a 'lulz proposal' in game and never let in the wrong citizens with my allocated citizenship passes.

I can tell you that the under CallumH123 the GGP is looking at debating any policy in party before making a vote, so you can be sure every vote is well thought through and we as a party and individual party members will be held accountable to YOU.

Paul Keating says it's time give DocterDry a political judo chop

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm seeking "expressions of interest" for those who want to be part of a possible cabinet next Prime Minister term.

HOLD YOUR HORSES FOLKS!!!!!!

This DOES NOT yet mean I running for Prime Minister (as the chances of me winning is not great).

However, the most likely scenario is that with the right people together, I may ask an experienced leader to be our Prime Minister with myself helping them assemble cabinet.

I see my job as writing up tasks for those members of cabinet to do and timetables in which they must deliver.

That is MY PLAN for next term. Not doing a DocterDry and trying to get people to leave... but a term where we focus on spreading the workload and creating a system where is makes it EASIER for future governments to do every day tasks and keep people INFORMED.

If you are interested please send me an email or pop into the GGP section of the forums at community.auserepublik.com
