We are to go without a congress for the third month in a row now. Personally, I do not believe that this is good enough. I am not blaming all of this on ONE but if we are in an alliance they should protect us so we can at least secure a congress once in 3 months. However that is not the case. We haven't secured a congress since I joined this game, and since the eUnited Kingdom joined ONE.
Don't Make Promises You Can't Keep
During temujin94's forum post on the 21st of February he told us this: "Along with Spain we'll be ONE's main priority tomorrow as we're the nations that have went longest without congress". Those are the exact words that our Country President told us however I do not see how we were set as the main priority by ONE. Actually, that did not seem like the main priority for our country. For the past few days our country was being told to fight in Spain and not the United Kingdom. We may have taken a few regions but we did not have any support and we lost 4 regions in 2 days. Since we will be the country that has gone the longest in ONE without a congress we should definitely be the main priority next month. I was told that if we stay in ONE we have little chance of getting a congress, if we leave ONE then we have no chance. I am starting to see things as if we have no chance of a congress either way, but I still have a little bit of faith in ONE and maybe we shall get our congress next month.
Oh, Yeah? Keep Our Bazookas?
I am sure that we were told to save up all of our bazookas throughout the past month so that we could fight and get a congress. If we have had many citizens saving 30+ bazookas then I'm sure we could have dealt a lot more damage then we did and we could have kept our regions. Last month and the month before that, there seemed to be some sort of panic about us not getting a congress. I could not see the panic this time. Everyone just acted as if they were used to it. Did you use your bazookas and are now annoyed with the result of it? It must be very annoying. Seeing this for 30 days and then it becomes worthless:
The eUnited Kingdom's Current Position
So we are now falling back into the position that we were in for the past 2 months. No regions on the map. No congress. A load of complaints about how we cannot succeed in anything. We need to be more organised with these things. I do not know what was going on with the people in charge of the eUnited Kingdom however many people did not know where the correct place to fight was. I heard people saying Wales, Northern Ireland and Yorkshire all within a space of 30 minutes. The daily orders were also changing more often then they usually do. The decision could not be made where we should fight in, which was one of the main flaws. When I see our country like this, it is embarrassing, and it should be embarrassing:

There's been a lot of calls on corruption and many have been wrong.I'll wait for a response from the goverment and MU leader's before rushing to conclusions.
Serbia, Indo, Macedonia and Spain are all probably going to end up congressless as well, Hungary but for Austria to retreat through and Iran has been congressless as long as we have - we are at the front of ONE's congress queue, but that queue isn't moving. Also, don't forget we have 3 enemies occupying us, the other ONE countries only have one or two, making us much more difficult to save.
That would make eUK the highest priority if that were the case.

Well, tough luck for them, but seriously, my concerns are ON OUR OWN SHORES at the moment - and I don't see a whole lot of ccordinated action going on there.
Has it occurred to you that you are "congressless" because that is the specific intention of the people you are fighting.
Cheetacurtis, the UK probably did fight harder but so also did we. UK people most probably used the bazookas & energy bars they were saving up, I know we did, we were prepared for this.
UK people seem to assume that all that is important is themselves & that anything else can be dismissed.
Maybe a change of attitude by the UK would get results - would have to be more successful than hoping your allies will come & save you

Oh maybe we should take advice from you - I love getting lectured by Irish citizens who were wiped more often than not for 6 months + . Here's the fact - alliances rise and they fall. ONE used to be dominant and now they are not. We all know game strategy, it's a matter of numbers and coordination. Maybe we should do what you did and invite a foreign group to come in and run our country for us.
If UK leaves ONE and joins TEDEN, then there'll be higher odds of getting a Congress next month.

To call ONE's present predicament just part of a cycle were power is displaced among the dominant alliances is sheer myopia! The current status quo is unheralded. ONE have not been beaten - they've been trampled into the ground again, AGAIN and AGAIN. AND AGAIN. To even entertain the thought that ONE can compete with the esprit de corps of EDEN/Terra fighters or the military might it can bring to bear given its rampant success at squishing a numerically superior foe just underlines the illusion still harboured by the pro-ONE leaderships in fellow traveller states like the UK, which at this point are only good for choking whatever progressive, EDEN/Terra-leaning voices still remain in the land, and all it would seem at the behest of Belgrade and Warsaw and ONE HQ. The notion that ONE is suddenly gonna cohere once more into a competent fighting machine and repel the evil TEDEN from Britain is just LOL !!

ONE has had the beating heart plucked from its over-sized, corpulent chest. What we've learned is that states like Serbia and Poland are ONE only when it suits them. They're too large to really need states like the UK for armed assistance and are more than capable of mounting effective defences of there own region when required. Consequently, and as they've illustrated, they MORE THAN HAPPY to launch huge, ill-thought out assaults on the US or wherever then crawl back to there own lair when the tide turns and let supposed "allies" like the UK face the brunt of a resurgent EDEN/Terra.
The idea the UK leadership are still sitting there, finger's crossed, hoping there Serb or Polish overlords are gonna rescue them from there dire straits is LOL-inducing.

This isn't really a discussion New Faustian Man. It's one side whining and, to be honest, embarassing themselves, while the other offer nothing but unnecessary (although sometimes eloquently written) insults.
The admins love this because you all get worked up and spend a ton of your hard earned cash on Gold that you probably didn't want/can't afford to buy.
I prefer to try and not get involved in the general flame wars, but I find it difficult to pass up the opportunity for an amusing comment here and there.
